Jane’s Addiction at Evolution Festival in St. Louis

I’m on my way to Chicago right now, so I can’t post of the details by Jane’s Addiction will be playing Evolution Festival, Inn, St., Louis in September. Obviously I’m fucking stoked. I had already bought early bird VIP tickets without knowing the lineup.

Last night Perry dropped a line "we will see you again in the SUMMERTIME" which of course made everyone thing we were about to get a Jane's song (which we didn't, and which I appreciated that they let Porno be Porno) so it seemed to read there was another tour coming....

I find it interesting nothing else has popped up yet. I’m guessing this is part of a fall US tour since they haven’t announced one other festival, and this isn’t a major fest that they’d book just to book. Knowing this bands management, they found out when it was announced.

I'm still shocked they're playing here after how poorly that Pumpkins tour sold here. How poorly you ask? I had front row upper deck (because I wanted to sit and have a clear view). Well week of suddenly you couldn't buy tickets in the upper deck. So you showed up and they said oh grab a pair of tickets off of this table, you're in the lower bowl now. Same tour I saw in Denver and it was jammed though.
