Thanks! That would be me. No connection to the old Perryisms site, however.

Awesome! Some of those sound like they could be modern Perry with the cheesy song intro worked in but he was funny as shit sometimes too.

I laughed out loud when I heard that shit!! haha he does with his classic perry growl. Although, I will say how Eric, Dave, and Stephen were embarrassed from his behavior..talks about his dick way too much haha that would get annoying to hear on a nightly basis.

I think honestly he's the same guy. Basically he became a dad and realized he can't be on smack and do whatever he wanted because he loves his kids. In his comments since he became lame (after Yorbel I think thats the one with the photo chick) and married its all been that he wants to be hubby and dad so he's PLAYING the part... no one drinks a bottle or 3 of wine on stage and is about family.. He's trying to do the best he can for his family. Honestly I hate his music since GGU but I understand it, he's not able to take 3 lbs of shrooms to some beach location anymore so he writes about what he sees everyday.

Sure, but he can write about what he sees every day on the news, or about art, philosophy etc.

You don't have to be on drugs to write about interesting topics.

I think he did much better on TGEA. Splash is a really interesting song to me. So much better than Price I Pay. The lyrics are less obvious and leave room for interpretation.

Wow! Thanks for making this, henry. And thanks to creep for posting it here.

Once upon a time, Perry Farrell was a GOD! Like Eric said, he was the best frontman ever or the coolest guy ever...something to that effect.

This whole justification would fly if he and his wife didn't spend so much time talking about what hard partiers they both are. He couldn't even show up to go fishing on time because of what a "rockstar" he claims he is.

Instead of spending his time on smack, he just spends it high on weed and drunk off his ass. Same addict, different substance.

The difference is that he no longer surrounds himself with art, he surrounds himself with celebrity.

So in the past he'd write a poem about something going on in his life: which was sex, drugs, and rock n roll. Now if he had to write about something going on in his life, it would be a poem about LG cellphones and hobnobbing with Garey Busey.

Don't let the marriage and kids fool you. That's not what ruined it. It was when he swapped being LA for being Hollywood.
