Glad to hear Stephen say that a vinyl TGEA will be released in November.

Dave also mentioned that last nights crowd was the rowdiest NYC crowd he's seen in 15 years. I would agree. I left with soaking wet hair and a soacking wet shirt. I have a bunch of bruises now too!

Yeah Steve saying the one person he'd like to have lunch with is Dave's Mom was very touching, you can tell it got Dave emotional. It was good to see them all getting along.

That's very sweet, and very sad.

So Perry's suffered from a broken heart between 1997 - 2001 and 2009 to a few months ago?

Chris looked like he just rolled out of bed, somebody needs to throw him a comb, and that jacket or whatever
he was wearing was just hideous, i guess fashion sense isnt his thing.

as for the chat sessions, it could have been better with the questions, seemed short too.

Sounds like Perry has resentment towards Casey and her contribution(s) to the book.

With any luck, he'll write a song about her for the next album in 2021.

it sounds like the main issue was that they didn't make any money off it. :noclue:

it's not like the book disparaged them.

 Money is always an issue with them.

I wonder how involved Eric was in his contributions (was he interviewed or just cited), considering it was written during the Strays era. Perhaps Perry is also alluding to him, given his "ex-girlfriend" analogy/comment.

Perry was especially pissed when they found out the Spin article was being expanded in to a book. They cut off all contact with the author immediately. He has said when it's time to tell his story he'll tell it in his own book.

I remember that. But didn't Dave and Stephen contribute to the book (given what happened during the Strays debacle)? Or was their info just acquired from the initial Spin story and other cited articles?

...watched the chat/vid w/perry & album cover...

...noticed that perry continually looked at chaney when talking; he loves him! :lolol: dave & stephen are in their own space; perry is in his own & chaney just tries to fit in... interesting about dave's solo on 'splash'; i tried it tonight and it's pretty cool/easy. he also alluded to the fact that while doing the solo, he was in a bad place. overall though, it seemed they all are getting along, althoug d & s seem to pretty much ignore perry's :blah: :blah: :blah: stuff; he still seems so flaky/spoiled/obtuse.

dave really seemed perturbed when perry decided to just get up and bail for a minute...

maybe when dave gets back to his radio show, we'll get some REAL questions.

also, re: perry & album cover---it's almost like perry's a kid with a school project; "all the things to escape... a guitar & amp, a computer, ... um... a poster of a beautiful woman..., um..." kinda cheesy, really. also noticed that the original wallpaper in the room is the 'new' JA logo, but he decided to go with 'outer space' instead... he just won't let go of SP, will he?

Not that it is a surprise...but it is amusing that the sculture for TGEA is about 18 inches tall; especially when you consider the sculptures for NS and Ritual were life size.
