Today, the lineup for Lollapalooza Chile 2012 (March 31 & April 1) was confirmed, and Jane's Addiction isn't there. PerryEtty vs. Chris Cocks is. Does it mean something? Jane's Addiction released a new album, they have the chance to promote it in Brazil and Chile, and they won't do it?

Are they breaking up after Aspen?

i think it's good that they aren't doing it. perryetty can't stay away though. shouldn't they be on the bottom of the lineup?

UNLESS... unless it's because they want to do a world tour on their own. If not, it's just a stupid decision, having the almost-free chance to promote their album in this market.

Nevermind, they're playing in the Brazilian version of Lollapalooza, one week after Chile's, headlining instead of Björk.

Yeah, 31 Minutos is the kids' show, they'll be playing in the Kidzapalooza stage
I thought of going basically to see that show, but it'd just be too steep.

If you don't see Gargle Balls, then you're crazy. They are the most energetic live band in existence at the moment.

Last time they were in Austin I saw the secret show and the show at Stubbs. There were doing soundchecks for the secret show right below one of my friend's offices. So basically got to see them 3 times in 2 days it was pretty fun. I actually like Gogol quite a bit.

I think there was some interview with Perry a short while ago, and he said that they weren't doing it because they'd done it last time, which I guess is why they're playing Brazil instead.
