How do Thievery Corporation keep getting on every single Lolla bill? Is someone in the group blowing Perry?

+++ (crosses) is also playing, so says an email they sent out.
1st live show, I think, unless they warm up beforehand.
Their EP is unbelievably good.

He did a song with them. I assume they're buddies.

Is it like 1 day in Chile and Brazil?

The lineups look unbelievably small in comparison to the Chicago show.

Arctic Monkeys are a fantastic band. I think Mat Helders is one of the best young drummers out there.

Kamal Soliman is Thievery's tour manager, he is also like one of the main directors for C3 Productions(lolla) he has also been a tour manager for Jane's and is now one of the 2 DJ's in Lance Herbstrong(Pete's band)

oh and Perry and the Jane's FB pages are flooded with very disappointed and angry people.

Chile and Brazil are 2 days each... so it is still a big difference.

However, a 3-day festival wouldn't work here... it'd definitely be bad business. A couple of weekends ago there was the Maquinaria Festival, which had artists between noon and midnight, approximately 14 per day. Day one, at 2 PM there were like 1,000 people there and a total audience of 60,000 at the end of the day. Day 2, at 2 PM there were approx. 100 persons and a total audience of 30,000 at the end of the day. Granted, the headliner for day 2 was Snoop Dogg, but still...

Even though that lineup might be small in comparison, it's a good fit for the local market.
