I know...it's still funny though. All artists pull the "this is our best work yet" schtick when they have new product; then they shit on it a year or two later.

Yeah; wouldn't work very well. I can see why an artist would choose to promote their work instead of tell the truth. Or maybe Perry truly believes it's his best effort since he thinks he can sing so much better nowadays.
