You really think he would give it anything less? It just came out, why would it say it's not up to par with what came before? The only thing I found wrong about this video is Perry saying he doesn't like the vocals on NS.

Yeah; wouldn't work very well. I can see why an artist would choose to promote their work instead of tell the truth. Or maybe Perry truly believes it's his best effort since he thinks he can sing so much better nowadays.
