I was going to post some stuff but the photo web site I use "Photobucket' is malfunctioning at the moment. this is their note to me
**SERVICE DISRUPTION UPDATE 12/21: The majority of Photobucket Members are back online. We continue to work on getting all Members’ fully functional. We will report back as progress continues.**
We apologize for the recent service disruption that you have been experiencing these last few days.
We deeply regret that this happened and we are working around the clock to bring photobucket.com back online.
First and foremost, your images are safe. Our number one priority is to ensure that your images are secure and we have several systems in place to make sure nothing is compromised.
We will provide ongoing updates as we make progress to finding the full solution.
What happened?
On Wednesday, December 18th we experienced a total power outage at our primary data center. Due to the abrupt nature of the outage the equipment that runs the site shutdown unexpectedly. The immediate shutdown resulted in systematic issues when the power was restored. Unfortunately, due to this unexpected shutdown, we were also not able to rely on our backup data center resources.
What are we doing right now?
The process is taking longer than expected because the security we have in place requires additional processing time. Most importantly, our primary focus is to ensure your photos are safe and secure!
What are we doing to prevent these situations going forward?
We are in the process of migrating Photobucket to a more reliable environment. The environment will give us more stability and help us reduce these issues in the future. Once service is restored, our primary focus will be on moving your beloved images to this environment.
We understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
Ted
CEO

got this for $22. pin holes an all. hadnt seen it before though.
bought 7 flyers, 6 early psi-com and a janes flyer. $26 after i purchased them i asked the guy if he was part of the psi-com fan club back in the day, this was his response:
Hi Michael,
Yes, these were mailed to me. My old P.O. box address is on some of them. Not really sure how I got on the mailing list. Years ago I wrote record reviews and a person named Rich Evac, another LA artist, mailed them to me. I'm guessing he may have been their promoter/manager. Can't tell you much more than that.
five of these are listed on the JA.org site, the other two are not. some things interesting that wasnt mentioned before i got them is they were sent by rich evac drummer/manager. his wife at the the time was the keyboardist and also had a magazine called 'Contagion' and printed flyers
whats neat is he got these only days before the shows as you will notice on the post office stamp mark on the back of some of these. they were tri folded when mailed to paul
ill post from earliest to latest
names and numbers are covered to protect the innocent

interesting thing about this first one is this back page has a map printed which is not shown on the org site. wiki says the band started in 81' an perry joined early 83'. the org site mentions that perry might not have performed at this show. this shows perrys number to call for information. it has the three folds so im thinking it was mailed with the next flyer that is post marked aug, 13, 1983 https://janesaddiction.org/tour/show/ps ... 08-13/795/

i messed up the first post by saying rich was the drummer. that is what perry applied for to join the band. rich was the bassist. i think the first flyer was folded in with this second flyer. this was mailed the same day of their third gig with perry
i messed up the first post rich was the bassist who sent this. i covered the addresses

last flyer
this concert is listed on ja.org but doesnt show a flyer. https://janesaddiction.org/tour/show/ja ... 11-29/358/
this one im flakey about. only because of the black ink on the top and bottom. looks like a scanner ink but the flyer looks right. back then xerox machines were used not scanners
plus not folded, plus not mailed, plus nothing on back. otherwise i love it

Not exactly relevant to this post, but for the few of us who still get excited about old Jane's shit, here's a recently-unearthed live video from 1990 worth checking out.
1990.10.19 - Melkweg, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Seems to be shot by the same guy who did the 1991 Melkweg video that has been around forever.
Filth recently made me aware of this previously uncirculated live recording that quietly popped up on YouTube a while back. According to our archives here [janesaddiction.org], this show was previously only known to have an incomplete audio recording. This video is nearly complete (though the first part of Beach is missing). Picture quality is excellent for a video from the time, as it was shot with a tripod from the center back-of-house. Great angle; nice and steady. Unfortunately the sound suffers a little from crackle/pop of the VHS degrading. But still worth checking out.
set:
Up The Beach (joined in progress)
Whores
No One's Leaving
Ain't No Right
Standing In The Shower... Thinking
Three Days <---the circulated audio recording begins in the middle of this song
Been Caught Stealing
Summertime Rolls
Mountains Song
Pigs In Zen (during rant: "Don't think so much. It makes you sad. Fuck first, then think, and you'll never be mad.")
Stop!
(encore break)
Ted, Just Admit It...
Ocean Size (Perry says "Do you want it?" right before "3, 4!")
