I don't see Dave leaving (not permanently). But if he did, I could see Perry resurrecting P4P.

well, that's what i was suggesting by hiatus. jane's addiction's break ups just end up being a hiatus, so far.

as for what perry would do, i could see him just doing his solo stuff with jane's addiciton/porno for pyros in with the other songs.

i could be wrong, but i'd be willing to bet perry makes more from lollapalooza these days. considering the poor sales of this new album, i think they likely lost money to the record company advances. one advance being this short tour to gauge interest.

either way, this inevitable end is near and there is no amount of "gimmicks" to pull it back out.

it's a shame they took our advice, but they split it up so badly that it didn't work.

a theater tour with eric avery supporting an album written with eric avery, doing rare songs, would've been our ideal and they couldn't put even two of those things together.

oh, yeah, could just be dave taking a dig at himself, so you or his paid entourage can counter with how great the album is.

dave is the nicest guy in jane's addiction, even more so than perk, but he's ultimately just a good guitar player. so i don't always trust his opinion of music.

he's the sprinkles on a cupcake, to perry's frosting, eric's cake, and perks the paper around the cake. as if we needed another metaphor for jane's addiction.

I saw it just as a bad joke. I guess what really bothers him is that RS slagged the album. But for heaven's sake not one of those so-called pornstars I also remember him and Dan talking about being excited for the tour and the trip on the tour bus...i guess he's looking forward to the tour and playing live as long as not anyone in the audience holds up an i-phone during the whole show.

Schizophrenia can manifest in paranoia and disjointed/incoherent thinking/speech. I don't have a problem with Trevor at all, but it just occurred to me that some of what he's written reminds me of some experiences I've had with schizophrenics. It would help explain why he sort of misses the point when people have tried to reason with him. He may actually not be able to understand what people have said to him clearly. At a certain point it stops seeming funny, I think.
