Jane's Addiction at Beale Street Music Festival-May 4-6.

My Morning Jacket, Florence and the Machine and Jane's Addiction are heading up the Beale Street Music Festival, which runs May 4-6. The 36th annual event will also feature Girl Talk, Primus, Megadeth, Lupe Fiasco, Al Green, Wiz Khalifa, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Bush, The Civil Wars, Big K.R.I.T. and more.

yeah that is a decent lineup. especially for $75 for a three day pass.

Yea. Rev Green was at the fundraiser at the Apollo for Obama (which the Pres. sang that clip of "Let's stay together")


THAT looks like a good festival! Memphis is such a cool town (and good BBQ!!)

And the Cult is on there, as well....way down the list. Wonder is Ian is still bitter about Gathering of the Tribes

edit: I see the Cult open for Jane's with one band in between. A band I haven't heard of.

I have fun when listening to some Cult classics.....they just don't appeal to me live.....from the clips I've see, they just don't match the energy of the music in presence. :noclue:

I've seen The cult live a few times and I thought they were awesome live!

Ian is a weirdo but they still rock. One of the shows he stops the show in the middle to show a art film. :crazy: Talk about taking the wind out of your sails....

This might be worth going under the guise of partying with friends. The ticket price is right for sure.
