Damn what a headache.

Last week I ordered these three BABYMETAL Pops from Amazon and they were sent from three different vendors.

I was sent two Moametal Pop's (the one with the blue check mark) and the Su-Metal Pop (red X) had obviously been taken out of the individual boxes they come in, because it arrived with some damage to the top of its head, even though the box itself had no damage at all.

The last thing I ordered from Amazon before this was a big hassle too, so I don't think I'll be buying anything from Amazon now.

The Pops are what's in that picture. There are tons of these things from movies, TV shows etc. I had planned on limiting mine to only Game of Thrones ....



but I just learned about the band BABYMETAL recently and then saw that they also made Pops of them. So I decided to get their Pops too. Only my ordering experience with Amazon trying to get their Pops has been a hassle. Which annoyed me enough to make a post about it here.

i probably average an order a week from amazon. i have never had an issue.

i did order something on ebay on saturday. i ordered a solar blanket for my pool. it was $73.

i got the box today and they accidentally sent me a pentair kreepy krauley. amazon has it for $289 so I figure I can sell it for about $200. i would still rather have my solar blanket but i guess i will just order another one. if i wouldn't have to ship it back to them i would let them know of their error. too much of a hassle to do the right thing.

Add me to the list of happy Amazon customers. And I order not just from Amazon US, but from UK, Japan and Germany Amazons. I've been doing Prime for about 5 years now, between my wife and I and our son, we probably order about $2,500+ worth of stuff a year and the free shipping is a Godsend.

The only problem I've had in about 10 years was when I ordered several records from Amazon UK and after about a month, one shows up completely destroyed like it went through a shredder and the 2nd LP wasn't included. I called customer service in the UK (which wasn't cheap), talked to a super nice lady who sent me the 2 LPs again, no charge which did arrive safely - twice. Yes, I got two copies of each album I had originally ordered.

I've also been pretty lucky on eBay. I've been doing eBay since '98 and I think I've had about 5 bad transactions as a seller and buyer in that whole time.

i have a shed in my backyard that i have been finding rat droppings in. i bought an ultrasonic thing that supposedly made a noise that keeps them out. i kept finding droppings so i had to give up on the humane way and get a rat trap that electrocutes them. i put it in yesterday and checked it today it got a squirrel. poor guy. i have no idea how he got in there. i guess i will live with the rats. i don't want to murder any more squirrels.

FFS, I had £5 on a fivefold today in the football. Four wins and a draw. After 81 minutes I had 4 out of 5 results going for me with a cash out value of £20. Then Luton score and I'm like YES!!!. I'm due to win £380 and my cash out value is like £145. I think, 5 minutes to go, I'm going to hold on. Two minutes later, Newport equalise. Full time, I get 4 out of 5. So pissed off.

Cool old theatre bought by a developer and being prepped for demolition before they had permission - by tearing down some of the irreplaceable interior "by accident"... I saw JA there in 2010 and it was cool.. Such a shame the govt here doesn't really give a shit about heritage conservation and would rather receive taxes etc from the developer..

AARP has terrible record keeping. Been sending those cards in my name since I turned 30; but just remembered that my mother in law was getting her mail sent to my house at that time. Upside; your only halfway there.
