NBA
Re: NBA
Bad shooting, but it didn't matter. Steph has missed his last 18 three point attempts in that damned arena
Re: NBA
Um, yeah....
Anyways, huge game against the dinos tomorrow......virtually the same records in the east. Be a great test for us after blowing out Orlando. Heartbreak against the beard the other night.....as the season goes, we are getting to the point where we can compete with anyone.

Re: NBA
Bad second half. KD not shooting well. A win is a win though.
Re: NBA
The Spurs will be a tough one. That's Juana's team, isn't it??SR wrote:Looking forward to the supreme test tonight. IT still out.....looking for a breakout game from an increasingly confident Jaylen.
:crickets:
We have the 76ers tonight. I don't want to be premature, but it'll probably be a 'W'.
Re: NBA
Not too far. On public transit, it's about 30 minutes...about 5 miles.SR wrote:I think he loves to hate them.
Spurs will be really tough, but I never look past Philly....lots of young talent, but yeah....you should take it. How far is the arena from where you live?
Re: NBA
Lakers are my team but I go to a lot of Spurs games and I love Pop and his approach to things. So just by proximity they have become my second team living in the Austin area and having a friend that works high up in the organization to hook up great tickets doesn't hurt either.Artemis wrote:The Spurs will be a tough one. Re: NBA
SR, damn, your Celts played valiantly tonight. Crowd's chants of MVP for Isaiah are well warranted!
Re: NBA
It shouldn't have been this close
Re: NBA
So I went to Duncan's jersey retirement and I was actually pretty impressed with how Holt and co put that together. Needless to say with KG, Bean, and Timmy all gone in the same summer is just sad.SR wrote:I think he loves to hate them.

Lakers are still learning and growing into their roles. Fun to watch but frustrating when they're up 20 and blow leads.
Re: NBA
SA is and always has been a class org. They are as close to the Pats in bball it can get.....a bit boring but no leaks, no cracked parts, fully greased and firing on all cylinders. KL is going to take them far.
Fakes are passing, learning to play d, and have finally graduated from those dreadful last 2 Kobe years. I thought they'd be a bit farther along, but they really are at ground 0 in the rebuild. I see them as a .500 team for the last quarter of the season. Next year, a .500 team all year.
