i'm glad you aren't the commissioner of the nfl or nba. all there would be is cheating and fighting. if this is proven i wouldn't be surprised if the take away (at least on paper) the superbowl victory.

Oh I would punish everyone involved but it doesn't take away that the Saints beat the Colts no one in NOLA is going to care how it happened. Also how much money did that superbowl win bring the franchise?

Just like I said in the other thread Ron should be suspended but everyone acts like this shit doesn't happen every game / every season. One of my best friends on the planet works for Peter Holt directly. There is a lot more shady shit going on in pro sports than you know.

He probably wanted to protect his brain like Dave Duerson, so it could be studied.

It wasn't that long ago that he drove off that cliff, so it's not really that big a shock to me that he eventually succeeded in taking his own life.

Yeah, that was right after he was ARRESTED for Domestic Violence. And guess what, NO charges were filed.

With the strict domestic violence laws in CA name one other person that was arrested for DV and not charged?

Oh, that's right, he's Mr SD so he gets a pass. :eyes: Pick on someone your own size Junior.

Wow, dali stopped this thread cold by saying something against the sacred cow.

What is most interesting to me is that in the Roman Gladiator days (from which modern NFL football originated) the "players" were slaves and of "no value".

How come, now in the modern age, the paradigm has completely shifted 180 degrees to where the "players" are "heros" and revered, enough so that you can't even say anything disparaging about them?

Were the Romans fucked up or is it "we (modern civilaization)" who are fucked up?

as much as everyone loves football...i think most people are more focused on other sports right now. juniors suicide needed to be mentioned and it was.
