That's still neat!

Stick/arc is hard, but Oxy is even harder! At least that is what I found. It really helps to get one of those hoods that have the instant shading lens to see what you are doing. They can be pricy but WELL worth it.

Here is something I made recently, a side table (frame) out of scrap rebar.... still need to make the plywd top..... :balls:

welding is cool. i'd love to take a course in it so i could make interesting metal sculptures.

my only experience with a blowtorch was to heat up knives for hot knives.

I've just chased and helped catch a thief. It was surprisingly instinctive. The lady victim recovered all her belonging and smacked the motherfucker's face. Well deserved. And he most likely was beaten bloody by the guards who handcuffed him and took him to the police station, where he'll be kicked in the teeth as well.

Feels great. All those runs under my belt have paid off.

(i know you can take welding classes at the crucible in oakland-probably a bit far from you- and I think some community colleges offer courses.

i've got a full metal shop with 3 phase arc, MIG/TIG, and a spot welder. the other day though, i bought this little 200 dollar chinese arc welder that plugs into 220 and it works really really well. i wish i remembered the name of it. you can easily use it at a house or something on your washing machines circuit if its 220.

Bought a new lawmower....er, car today. 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Wanted to take advantage of car dealers looking to hustle 3 day weekend/end of month business so we both took today off to beat the shoppers. We needed something that gets good gas mileage that we can mercilessly drive into the ground over the next 5 - 7 years (I do 100 - 150 miles per day during the week). The only think that really bugs me is the so-called sound system.... the fuckin' USB-enabled stereo won't play non-MP3 files off my iPod (all my audio ripped from cds are max bitrate WAV files). What kind of primitive screwhead designs a usb-enabled stereo that sees only MP3s?

I'll be going out car shopping tomorrow with everyone else , I'll probably end up in a Altima or Camry

though I might have to buy a new Charger if the price is right

We've been seeing each other a few weeks now. Anyone friends with me on FB could figure out who she is. Blonde, 25, multi-talented, smart and beautiful.

My next door neighbor just bought a 2013 Mustang in candy red and it's a pretty decent looking car although I bet it's a cop magnet for tickets. Yesterday, my wife and I went to about half a dozen car dealers and every single one was getting in shipments of new cars and every sales rep was saying how they expect to be slammed this weekend.

Slept 3 hours, woke up smiling, worked for 40 minutes, workout out for 30, went to play paddle, beat the shit out of my opponents, went to lunch with my nephews and now I'm in bed, naked, while it rains outside.

And it's 5 PM.

Is it safe to assume your nephew has gone home...?

Please, god, say he went home.
