someone explain the video and this story to me. i read last night about this guy killing someone and mailing the body parts and heard about that video but didn't know it was the same guy. is it the video of him actually killing that guy? anyone that would want to watch it is as fucked up as the guy that did it. i also read that the same guy had a video on youtube where he put kittens in a plastic bag and killed them.

It's alleged that he is responsible for both the kitten killing videos and for killing the guy too.

The guy Luka Magnotta(has a couple of other names too) is a deranged 29 yr old "low budget gay porn star" and model.

11:20 a.m.: Ottawa police respond to a call from the party headquarters about a suspicious package stained with blood

2:40 p.m.: Police confirm there is a human foot inside the package

5:30 p.m.: Police emerge from the Conservative party headquarters carrying a yellow plastic bag with the package inside

9:30 p.m.: Ottawa police confirm they found a second body part — a hand — inside a package at the Ottawa Postal Terminal, where mail is processed. This package was destined for the Liberal party headquarters

10 a.m.: Police confirm both packages containing the body parts originated in Montreal

12 p.m.: Montreal police say the torso, foot and hand all belong to the same person; say suspect and victim know each other

Apparently there are six more body parts to surface somewhere and he said he will kill again. He's got a blog with some weird shit on it and also a modelling website.
This site doesn't have any graphic killing photos or anything like that but, if you click on more he's got some weird stuff about cyber stalking and media propaganda.

Sheriff: Maryland student, 21, admits eating housemate's heart, part of brain

Hours after his family members alerted police to a human head and two hands they discovered stashed in metal tins, a Maryland man admitted killing his housemate, cutting him up, then eating his heart and part of his brain, authorities said.

Alexander Kinyua, 21, was being held without bail Thursday at the Harford County Detention Center after being charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault.

His roommate, Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie, had left his Joppatowne home six days earlier for an apparent early morning jog. Wearing a T-shirt and shorts, he left his wallet, cell phone and identification at home.

On Tuesday, Antony Kinyua -- Alexander Kinyua's father -- called a Harford County detective assigned to the missing person's case and told him about his other son's gruesome discovery.

According to the charging document, the other son explained to the detective how he had come across two metal tins covered by a blanket in the basement laundry room of Agyei-Kodie's Joppatowne residence. He opened the tins and found the head and hands.

The brother said he "confronted (Alexander Kinyua), who denied the remains were human," then went upstairs to get his father, the detective said in the charging document. When the father and son returned to the basement, "the items he observed were gone and ... Alex Kinyua was cleaning the container he observed them in."

Two Harford County detectives later arrived on the scene and discovered the head and hands on the home's main floor.

"He admitted to killing our missing person, Mr. Kodie, and cutting him up with a knife," Harford County Sheriff Jesse Bane told reporters Thursday. "He further stated that he consumed Mr. Kodie's internal organs -- specifically his heart and portions of his brain."

The suspect told detectives to go to the parking lot of the nearby Town Baptist Church, where they could -- and did -- find the rest of Agyei-Kodie's remains in a dumpster.

The missing person's report filed Saturday described the 37-year-old Agyei-Kodie as "very intelligent." He had earned multiple master's degrees from schools in Ghana and was also a graduate student at Morgan State University, even though he wasn't taking classes there at the time of his death.

Kinyua was affiliated with the same state university in Baltimore. The engineering student was one of 175 people showcased in an August 2011 symposium run by the prestigious Los Alamos National Laboratory. His study focused on the cost-effectiveness and productivity of "comfort control" systems regulating heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

I suspect he sent it to the political parties as a way for the action to get noticed and thus give him attention, which seems like something he has desperately sought out in recent years.

This whole incident has hit really close to home to me in a couple of ways.

I work around the corner from Conservative HQ in Ottawa and have some mutual acquaintances of the people who received the foot. Magnotta's apartment in Montreal where he killed the guy is near the neighbourhood I lived in in Montreal and is right near the metro stop I went to everyday.
