I think Rondo is a very good player but I would definitely take Parker over him. It has nothing to do with "hating" Parker's teams have won 3 rings. Rondo has won one. After all is said and done Parker may very well go up against Rondo and when the Spurs beat the C's and Parker gets #4 he will probably be the finals MVP again.

rondo has played great in the playoffs but so has parker and westbrook and they are still going as well...rondo's best games have come in losses...he has also always been hot or cold

Rondo is the better defender out of all of them and yeah Stern fucked us but not as hard as he fucked y'all in 2002. :aoa:

Dude! You have Paul as the best (when healthy). He doesn't even have a ring. I'm not saying the others aren't great or even that rondo isn't attitude ridden......I'm saying he's the best pg in the leauge. Take whomever you want, you'll get a great pg, but if it's not rondo.....it's second best.

The way I feel about him now, I would too. I effin hated him in the 80's, but I swear I got emotional when he announced he had aids. I remember being shocked at my response, but wishing him, what at the time that which was basically a miracle. And yes, I know the difference between HIV and aids.

Oh, and btw. Rondo is the only human on the planet who might come close to his 30 plus triple doubles in playoff work. Fact.

I know Rondo is a unique player and in the C's system he wrecks shop because he is allowed to do those things and be like Magic.

As for Magic I remember watching it live. I remember that day very vividly. It was heart breaking and I remember the whole city seemed cloudy that day. ESPN 30 for 30 just did a movie about it and then watching it was just like reliving it again. It was an awesome movie but parts of it were sad.

Love the guy now, even before he bought the blue......but only after he made it right with Larry.

As for this one, whoever wins game 5 goes to meet the c's.

Durant is a cold blooded player I mean like 16 straight, doubled, didn't matter. He just doodle jumped all over the Spurs D, my other half who is a Spurs fan is not happy. But seriously 6'10 and can shoot like that and is that athletic.

Makes me feel bad for Portland and Seattle

You never know, besides I would be more worried if I'm a Shammy not from my natural hate but Boston should have kept their foots on their throats. 2008 Team would have crushed them when they got that huge lead.

Boston is too old. They can't hang for the entire game.

I want them to win, but they just simply won't. Heat will take the next 2.

Unless of course Bosh comes back and takes shots away from LeChoke and Wade and then turns out to be a dud.

But i don't see the situation getting better for Boston. I think now they will just have an entirely new Heat offense to figure out how to stop. If it took them 2 games before, they are done.

It looks bad all the way around really.

What's getting old are the "old" comments. If they pull off this series stfu and focus on this team which is not the '08 team either.

Fact is, they have outplayed Miami in 3 of the four games. Like the other series, game 5 winner wins the series. I like our aged chances. :thumb:

I just don't think they have it. They can straight up play, but when they get tired any lead they may accumulate seems to disappear.

There is no excuse to be up by 20 pounds and then let them catch up, go into overtime, and squeak by based on the failed shots of the other team.

dont you think ya might be jumping the gun a little bit here?
its down to 2 outta 3 and miami has homecourt.
I dont think the refs have been favoring either team with the fouls, but they definitely help the home team win.
the home officiating in the playoffs has been absolutely ridiculous
i mean it really swung against the heat in games 3 + 4.
i wish they dialed back entitling the home team getting such better calls...
last 2 games lebrons been hit with 10 fouls and wades shot 5 free throws
celtics on the road get a flagrant for cracking a smile...
if miami starts getting the benefit of the calls they'll bury the celtics
i gotta be honest though, i thought miami was gonna flatten the celtics last night...

In all seriousness, yes. But I double checked and I did contribute to a JA message bored that happens to have an NBA thread. Oh, and I am a Celtic fan. :thumb:

im a big time miami hater...and the truth is if they get beat this series i wont even have any reason to watch the finals.
its fun watching them lose, but having them get all the way to the finals and losing again might be asking too much.
