its fun watching them lose, but having them get all the way to the finals and losing again might be asking too much.
In all seriousness, I know our deficiencies. Rondo making up for them is bound to fail.......but, then again there is alot of heart and desire on this team. It is absotively, positively the last chance for all the geriatrics. Oh, and I hate Miami in the most dismissive fashion. Cognitive dissonance and all. I just can't accept that they exist in this leauge.

There is no excuse to be up by 20 pounds and then let them catch up, go into overtime, and squeak by based on the failed shots of the other team.
Happens all the time in the playoffs
Like tonight with an old team climbing back against the youngest most athletic team around.

Yeah but you forgot the fact that they're all young, the heat outside of Lebron and Bosh are old. Don't get me wrong the C's are playing lights out, but do you really want them to get Doodle Jumped by the Durantula?

Yes, I do.

I was just trying to show that his argument attempting to define the reason why the c's wont make it is incorrect. Playoff swings are frequent and large. A day later the age is the reason position is dismantled. That is all. :noclue:

Nah they're playing well but unless Allen finds his stoke just with the threat of Bosh in the lineup the Heat will spread the floor because of it. If KG still has it in him then congrats to the C's, but I think it will be different when he has to actually play post defense for the first time in this series. Paula is looking for his wheel chair. So the key is a healthy Allen and Rondo playing well. Oh and the refs will be friendly for the home team as they have shown thru this series.

Heat in 7, and that is because Wade is a bitch. Been playing soft for the last two games just like he did in the first 3 IND games and he is looking older than Kobe. WAY more afraid to take it inside and honestly as much as I hate the way he left Cleveland this is Lebricks team. If they lose this series Riley tries to trade Wade.

Pop called him the best player on the planet. Love the guy, the whole team actually. They are becoming big time right before our eyes. And should they meet the heat it would be polar opposites, good v. Evil, old school built team v. Frankenstein

SR,

I love yah but yeah I can not root for the C's. The Sonics have Fish and Durant and I LOVE both players. Plus it would be nice to see with this whole small market movement to see a real small market win. SA is the 7th largest city in the US, its not a small market its just that city doesn't care... like most smaller cities.

The sad thing is I like Rondo and Allen, great players... the other two not so much and while I will always hate the C's, it would be okay as long as Rondo avgs at least 27 /10/13.... BUT if the Sonics meet them. NO CHANCE. I say this not out of hate, but Durant in his 4/5th year is turning into a 6'10 Jordan... you have no chance.

Well, we can hope Westbrook dribbles all ove looking for headlines and throwing up 18 foot bricks. Almost cost them tonight. But yeah, Durant is special

The Heat only have one player that has shown up to each game in the post season. Series are not over but I believe when the Heat lose this series that Spolestra is going to get fired.

unless they win the championship he is getting fired for sure.

at this point i think it will be okc-miami. i hope not...i do hate the celtics a little less than the heat. seeing the heat not make the finals again would be the best thing ever.

The Heat have too many role players and too many guys who look inexperienced. Its a team of 3 stars and the rest are scrubs. That formula might not be enough. Boston looks like a team. Rondo is killing them. He's a great PG. He's doing so much. You never know if he's going to pass or score. He makes plays. The Heat are in trouble if they lose this year. Oh and Durant is a beast. He's just about unstoppable. And to think he could of and should have been a Blazer. Fuck I hate my team.

I disagree.

I think they will just keep Lebron/Wade/Bosh together till every other team either gets too old to compete or rebuilds.

They will win a championship, but it will be in a season filled with trades and rebuilding where they have no real competitors.

Naw Pat Riley will want results. I believe they will fire the coach and Riley or someone else will come in and fix the issue. Also their role players do not have defined roles with their current system. Unlike say Boston where everyone knows what they're supposed to be doing and when. That is all coaching and putting people in the right spots and then the players being in positions to succeed. Also there is a lot of blame on Wade he only shows up in the last few minutes of every game. Lebron as much as I hate him has been playing lights out all playoffs and is getting little to no support in the losses.

What a player, what a kid. Runs to mom for a hug. Both give me chills. It's quite possible Durant is a better man than bball player
