CBC apologized online and on-air late Wednesday night after one of its commentators said a defeated Chinese swimmer “died like a pig” during a race.
The incident occurred after the women’s 4x200m freestyle relay final, when it seems colour commentator Byron MacDonald thought he wasn’t on-air and said: “The little 14-year-old from China dropped the ball, baby. Too excited, went out like stink, died like a pig. Thanks for that.”

Too bad they just lost though.

Total Medals: 2
Now you have three. They just won bronze in rugby.
With a face and teeth like that i'd be afraid she might chew my gonads off.

Men's 100m final in less than an hour.
De Grasse or Bolt?

Bolt, Gatlin, then De Grasse. De Grasse is amazing, but he's clearly trying much harder to keep up with the big boys (dopers, probably). Just look at the difference in size. Gatlin is short (and a doper) but he's a tank. De Grasse needs a few more years to develop muscle mass. Sprinters tend to peak around 24-25.

The guy who won bronze like I said he would. He's a very young Canadian (21) who just burst onto the scene last year but has been getting decent press up here. He was running for USC I think, with that other young American guy (Trayvon something?).

Yeah, I was a little surprised that you wouldn't know who he is since you seem to be on top of what's going on in the sports world.

He should be the best sprinter in the world at the next Olympics. The current batch of Jamaicans will be too old by then, and the American youngsters aren't as good as De Grasse.
