Oh man, can't believe JV is gone.
Don't know much about Marc Gasol...will have to look him up. Not sure if he is worth losing so many guys. Well, I'm not sorry to see CJ Miles go, so adios to him. Will miss Delon Wright tho.
Greg Monroe and Malachai Richardson gone too.
JV was putting up some good numbers so I was excited waiting for his return to the Raptors.

The way the NBA is nowadays with players and their agents choosing what team they want to play for sometimes I wonder if we'll ever see another city that has cold winters win another championship.

The way the media talks about it, you'd think New York is the best place to be and not the dumpster fire it has been for the last 20 years. They talk up the Lakers and Boston too no matter how bad they are at any given time. I'm really routing for the Buck or Raptors to do well this year. My Blazers....They always have good seasons, but just seem like the same old same old. We'll get bounced. Can't sign a free agent to save our lives.

Milwaukee adding Mirotic is a huge plus. That guy single handedly was responsible for three quarters of the wins the Bulls had last season.

Well, young millionaire players wanna live in cities with a pulse...so la, ny and Florida cities always have that pull
As for the lakes and C's...they have 35 NBA titles! plus each franchise has rings and multiple finals trips in the last 10 years what do you expect? That's never changing

I'm going to the Golden State/Phoenix game tonight.
I bet on Golden State, of course. Because I'm not stupid.
Hopefully I win back the cost of my ticket.

Just heard that Jeremy Lin will be signing with the Raptors. There's a huge Chinese population here to reinvigorate 'Linsanity" if it's still a thing.
Looking forward to going to the game against Brooklyn tonight. I was hoping to see JV back in action;instead, I'll be welcoming the new, big guy.

you got to see a pretty exciting game.
Yes, really exciting!! Best game I've been to so far. Sting was in the crowd too and got a Raptor jersey with his name on it. He's in town for a musical he's in, The Last Ship. No pics today, too blurry to post. Nice home debut for Gasol, great reception from the crowd, got a standing ovation. Happy that Kawhi got the winning basket. He seemed out of sorts the last game in New York. I was impressed with Patrick McCaw, so fast! Those Brooklyn boys tho, wow! They got twenty 3s last night! I like the dude with the old school afro, Allen. Why did the Lakers get rid of D'Angelo Russell?? He is GOOD! My next and last regular season game is on the 26th with The Celtics. By then we'll have Jeremy Lin in the line up and maybe Markief Morris too.
I didn't know New Balances weren't cool until people started making fun of him. I like New Balance shoes. I've also been told Sketchers aren't cool.
My favorite shoes are these... I wear them pretty much every day. Super comfortable.
New Balance does 2 things well:
1. Dad shoes
2. Running shoes
Either way, most people don't wear them. They aren't build for style, they are built for comfort.
As far as Skechers... yeah. I don't get that one. I've owned a pair or two and don't see what the issue is. I think the issue is that they are cheap(?)
I had a pair I would wear to work when my old ankle injuries were acting up. They were built like an athletic shoe on the inside, but they were fancy enough on the outside that I didn't feel weird wearing them with slacks.

A short doc created by CBC Gem series called 'Inside An Athlete's Head'. The latest one features Demar DeRozan.
Well done, worth a watch.
Miss this guy.

Excellent. Love him too. Of any place for this guy to get traded...to Pop was the best possible place.

Yes, seems to be a good fit for him.
I'm looking forward to the game on Friday when the Spurs come to town;DD's first game back since he was traded. I hope the Raptors organization does a good tribute for him. I know the fans will give him the longest and loudest standing ovation ever experienced in that arena. DD will feel the love for sure!

Good, he deserves it of all players. I was in Boston when Rondo came back with the Mavs and they received him really well and the video montage were all acts of magic and wizardry on his part as a C champ.

Basketball's back on the menu guys and girls. We're way over the halfway point now.
