I saw the defense was playing a lot of bump and run / man coverage which seems to suit their people better which will allow for Long and co to get after the QB. I also saw that Bradford looked really sharp for while he was out there.

As for the 9ers Kapernick or whatever will be their QB and if that is the case they will win games because he is like a poor mans Vick with what he can do with his legs. The worst team in the division is the Seahawks because they have Jackson as the QB. The only reason I'm not counting the 9ers out is because out of all the coaches in the division no one understands QB better than Jim. BUT if he was smart he'd go with Smith and draft Luck. :aoa:

Shawne Merriman looks like his old beast self again its a shame now that he's healthy and motivated and actually fighting thru blocks he's on the Bills and not the Bolts.

The '9ers are a total mystery this season. I'm not sure if their front office even expects them to be very good, but everyone is just hoping they aren't terrible. :noclue:

The QB situation is tough to call, and everyone around here is screaming for them to sign an experienced QB to compete with Smith so that it doesn't come down to Kaepernick or Smith. The kid is really raw, and as bad as their offensive line looks it may not really matter who is back there, but they'd kinda rather not have the kid's career ended before he ever has a chance to develop.

Anyone catch the Saints - 49ers scrimmage? Folks are speculating wildly about the Saints decision to blitz early and often in a preseason game. Not sure if it was meant as disrespect, or simply taking advantage of what they saw during the game.

Some are calling it a blessing in disguise as a motivator for a team that needs to get their shit together...

Did they actually sign him?

I just read they'd brought him in for a tryout ...

That O-line will get that old man killed. :scared:

Man. That guy used to be my favorite player, back in 2000. I just read an article about how much the Niners o-line sucks, this might not end well...

Well it looks like its the Rams division to lose now provided Bradford improves on last year's performance

Well that and Greg Williams is a jackass like that, should have had Patrick Willis "accidentally" run into him in a very violent manner.

Mathews and the O-line looked good tonight. Rivers is pretty much locked in and comfortable in the series I have seen him play and the defense is getting after the QB again. Looks like there could be a good shot at not starting the season so badly this year.

Bad news though about M80 just seems like he can never got on track.

How 'bout dem Redskins, bitches? :thumb:

And did you guys hear about Tony Romo's bachelor party? Rented a cabin in the woods of WV and he and about 20 other dudes played hide-n-seek all night. No beer allowed.

Rock on, Tony. No one will ever suspect you're ghey.

Yeah his pro career is going to suck until he gets to another team. :banghead: But I think he should have tried to be a WR in the NFL still.

Typical raiders move. Dude really isn't that great, could be better than Jamarcus "Sizzurp" Russell, but I guess that ain't saying much. I doubt the supplemental draft will ever receive this much coverage again, unless, of course, another overrated Ohio State quarterback decides to bail after the draft.

Well the biggest reason was probably the scandal involving the coach and the players.

I sure hope Miami's prospects aren't that great, cause I can't handle this again haha. I never really cared for either program, so I thought it was hilarious when it happened, but now that ESPN is rolling out all these dramatic segments about "Fixing the College Game," it's just too much.

I think they could go 3-3 in there

Dallas installing a new D
Washington will suck as long as Shanahan is there without Elway/Davis
Saints always drop one to someone they shouldn't
Green Bay has a huge target on their back and has to get up for every game even if they have the better team
Eagles have a lot of hype surrounding them and Vick needs to prove he's worth that 100 mill

But the Ravens should stomp them.

I'm worried about KV I think his head will explode having to watch the Vikes / Chargers game. Wonder if there is a "maybe they will tie" thought in there.

Tonight should be a good game but I see the Saints winning since they were having minicamps and stuff that were player ran and all chipped in to help pay the newer players and pay their medical costs and everything.

Redskins? Really? Sorry Ellis.

They beat them when they were bad.

Giants are ALL dinged up.

Cowboys? I'm not seeing it.

I think the Rams are being overlooked this year by a lot of people, and I hope other teams are just as ignorant on their progress.

The Rams upgraded all around this off-season. There is no one that denies that. They have a top 10 caliber defense that added even better personell, and a bunch of young guys now entering years 3 and 4 of their careers. They WR corps is upgraded. Jackson has Cadillac and Jerius Norwood backing him up now. Josh McDaniels is as good an OC as you can get. Bradford is now in his 2nd year, and is clearly a quick learner.

The only major holes on this team is CB depth. And this is the consenus amongst the media who actually follow the development of this team.

Yes I'm a kool-aid drinker at this time every year, but I see them matching up favorably in week 1 against the Eagles. The dome will be completely insane. The Eagles O-Line is one of the biggest jokes in the NFL. Chris Long, James Hall, Fred Robbins are all going to have a field day.

Rams 24
Iggles 17

Rams will go 4-3 or 3-4 in the first 7. They'll easily go 6-3 thereafter.

At worst, they go 9-7 and win the division.

This is the best team the Rams have put on the field in close to 10 years.
