I never really liked Tristan Thompson and wish the bulls never picked him up. It all went south after the bulls brought him on the team.
He's a cancer
Did the C's trade him to the Bulls or something?

Dunno. I looked up and learned he was gone. And I was happy.

Oh, and HOLY FUCK, what a game.

Indeed! I was on the edge of my seat for the entire game. What a finish by Tatum!! :yikes:
All the booing for Kyrie added to the drama and made him seem more villainous. I think he liked it and showed his appreciation by giving the fans the finger..lol. I didn't hear if he got fined for that.

My Raptors didn't fare so well in the first game against Philly. Those guys were really prepared and played well, even Harden. Tyrese Maxey though...WOW! That kid is GOOD!

Tonight will likely be another L. Scottie Barnes is out with a sprained ankle. Thadeous Young, qurestionable and Gary Trent Jr questionable too. OG and Van Vleet have been working through some injuries as well, not sure how many more extra minutes those guys can handle. Shaq's prediction that the Raptors will be swept may come true after all. :nyrexall:

Crazy, just crazy. Loved the No TO. Kyrie scares me a lot. Since his departure, he has owned us. I mean who burns sage upon a return to an old team? The Garden fans definitely serve as just another source of motivation for him. He couldn't miss in the 4th. KD will bounce back, so tomorrow will be another war. But, grats to Gamechanger on DPOY. Well deserved (and my fave player on the team  )

Anyways, yeah the Raptors are in trouble, but I appreciated the smash mouth ball they played to start the game. Injuries aside, I didn't like the matchups going in. As much as I hate to say it, I thought Philly would rise this post season. Joel has matured, for real. Good luck!

Well, that's it for the Raptors. No way they are winning four in a row. Last night was a really good effort though. :wavesad:

Glad the Bulls got a win last night, caught the last half.

2-0 for the Cs! I thought Brooklyn was going to win last night.

I haven't been watching any of the other teams, just the east. I can only watch so much basketball.

Ben Simmons jinxed the game with that hideous outfit he had on..

Seriously though, Brooklyn was terrible, wtf happened to them?!

Apparently, Simmons was slated to play today, but went into the front office and said his back was sore after his practice. :eyes: Bad gamble on Brooklyn's behalf. As for the Nets, I would never have predicted this version of Durant. I have never seen him play this way and I am a true believer in our D. I'm as confused as you are, but I am pleased with Kyrie finally crashing and burning against us. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if we sweep today; they look completely demoralized.

Grats to you too! I watched the Cs game first, then caught the rest of the Raptors game. Nice to see Scotty back. If VanVleet is not 100% on Thursday, he should sit out again. The team played great without him.

It was very satisfying to see Dragic's team lose. So much for his comment that he had "higher ambitions" than playing for the Raptors. I know we aren't winning a ring this season, but we are STILL playing and his team is OUT! #smugsatisfaction

So of the modern "super" teams...it's just Cali teams that pulled it off? Who am I missing? Just lakes and gs?

I also can't stand Dragic...since he and sasha vujacic had old homeland beef back in the kobe gasol days....guy seems like an ass...was really happy we didn't add him when there was talk of it....he is better than who we had but should never wear our colors after the Sasha stuff imho ...(he would have been an upgrade no doubt)

I don't know when the modern "super team" era started but what about the Miami Heat when LBJ, Chris Bosch and Dwayne Wade played together?

No amount of PEDS in his system could get LeBron to drag his shit show of a team into the playoffs.

Now that conspiracy pushing moron Kyrie is gone.

I'm now rooting for James Harden and CP3 to lose.

 Boston, heat. Honestly most the "super teams" the Lakers had failed recently. Malone, Payton, Howard, Nash....

Well, that's the season over then. Pretty good showing overall, 48 wins, 2 in the playoffs. Until next year!

I'm not a superstitious fella. But I did pull my C flag and put it up in the living room and pull a secret Santa gift (Celtic throw blanket) from Pillar Girl from so long ago I don't remember, washed it, and placed it on one of the chairs. Up until Sunday, I was really confident, but after G's showing, their d, and all of their shooting (Holliday stunned me), I started thinking I'd be pulling them down well before I want to. I get so fucking nervous during these series. Onward.

On a side note, I started the Magic doc on Apple TV yesterday. Poor Cookie. He was a real self-absorbed attention seeking child.
