Appears I'm not a member of that site at all or they deleted my account one or the other. But I figured it out when I went back to all the old JA related links from back in the day.

Say what you will about ja.org, and surely it is in no way above criticism, but they allowed us to put up a xiola thread when xiola closed, and though it may be locked, I'm pretty sure it's still there w/ links. Despite keeping a xiola-related tumblr site up, sonny refused to link to this site, and he deleted ALL of our accounts and everything we ever wrote.

I'm grateful to sonny and always will be. Despite its flaws, sonny still ran what was the overall best Jane's board for years. Nevertheless, there are plenty of questionable judgment calls to go around.

I'm just really impressed that our community was so strong and motivated that this site, and Deconstruction's lifeboat/bridge site, was put together so quickly.

I'm still hoping that we can find some of our missing comrades.

I love JA.org for the amount of information it possesses. I just think the board is RUBBISH. I'm a bit miffed, like everyone else, that 12 years of posts disappeared from Xiola, but shit happens. No one died. At the end of the day, the people, and as Jasper mentions, the missing people will make this board great.

i lurked at ja.org and xiola for a while before deciding which board to post on, because i'm lazy and could only be bothered to set up one account. Xiola (and hopefully this place with time) seemed way more fun than the ja.org board. I'm saying that with no personal grudge against Mike, it's just that his board sucks

You know...how childish. Really. How very, very childish. And it really is a perfect example of how Mike runs that place. If you speak out of line, if you have a dissenting voice - it's over. Bans, thread locks, etc.
