Spain is awesome. The only possible weak point could be Arbeloa against Portugal (Cristiano Ronaldo) or Russia (Arshavin).

Spain's midfield is fucking unbeatable. Sergio Busquets' timing and positioning have no equal, and the fucker is like 21 years old!

And even though I hate Torres in Chelsea, I'm kinda glad he's scoring. He was fucking class 4 years ago.

Spain made over 800 passes in last night's game. The only way England could make that many is if we enter Wayne Rooney on Mastermind.

Goddamn, one of the matches I missed, and it was a good one.

The Croatia game was kinda boring, don't even remember who they played against

That's stupid.

The teams can make money by sticking a giant sponsor banner on the jersey, but the players can't do the same? It's not like he altered his kit in any way.

Although I have read of incidents here where major sports leagues fine players for writing the names of dead/dying relatives on their shoes.

Which is also ridiculous.

"It can say Nike, Adidas, Puma, etc... But not Shirley, Jane, or Samantha"

Makes a lot of sense. :eyes:

Seriously, what THE FUCK is that stupid area referee for!? They've NEVER made a relevant call in 3 years!

Goal-line technology, NOW! :whip: :whip:

what they really need is a referee in the director's room, who can view the replays from all angles.
or just that 5th guy with a telly; obviously the live action's too fast.

hold your horses (and your assumptions and generalizing statements), we're not on the same line. I think the association with a gambling company is not done. I don't know anything about contracts in football.

Please please please PLEASE let us get Germany in the semi-finals. It's been a long 2 years since they laughed at us over the goal that wasn't (do i feel bad for Ukraine? Only not one mother fucking little bit...)... the shittest England team in recent memory is gonna get our revenge. I call a 6-0 with hat-tricks for Lescott and Terry.

I thank you.

ps - there's a heavy dose of sarcasm cleverly hidden in the above text. But i would like Germany as it's a quality rivalry... it's just a shame that they're actually quite good.
