Yeah UCLA has no business being in that game but part of me hopes they can pull out the upset some how some way, it will not happen but it would be funny.

oh so now you route for ucla huh?

shame

ya the pack 12 is split in to 2 6 team sections which now allows for a championship game instead of old pac ten getting leapfroged by teams in the bcs in the final week who had their own conference championship games

so it's a good good thing except i think they split it up shitty..usc should win it every year for the rest of my life

I'm not rooting for anyone, USC has won the Pac 12 as far as I'm concerned. But I would much rather see more Rick.. he gets to the Rose Bowl that buys him 3-4 more years and that is 3-4 more wins over fUCLA. I just said it would be funny. The real reason Larry Scott said USC can not be in the initial Pac 12 championship game is because he is afraid they would win so then he made it to where a cup cake gets set up for Oregon. Nothing aside from promising a great conference and coming back with Utah and Colorado would have been worse for Larry Scott than letting them play in the game and then the winner of the conference not eligible to play in the bowl.

yeah I saw that just now. I mean I'm happy his smug ass got fired but then again they might actually accidently get someone that can coach and they might win one once every say 13 years.

Either way I think another thing will be funny

Bama/LSU rematch and Bama wins and then LSU is AP champ and Bama is BCS champ and then the BCS explodes in a firey ball of death and we have our 12 team playoff.

I had a feeling he would his dream was always to QB at USC and now he has a shot at a BCS bowl or maybe more. He stuck with us thru the sanctions and I knew when I saw the set up behind him on the USC website before the presser that he would be coming back. No way you line up all the Heismans and then say you're going to go pro.

That being said I look forward to the Oregon / USC Pac 12 title game next season because well there is no one rough on the schedule until that game next year!! Also Robert Woods had ankle surgery he played half the season on a bum ankle and still won the Belitnikoff or whatever. So stoked!!

But it makes sense when USC is good then the Lakers do not win titles lol

Hell yeah this is going to make everything work out, hell if the Dodgers get a new owner and get that sorted could have two MLB teams in the playoffs, both Lakers and Clips in the playoffs, Kings and Ducks in the playoffs... lol :aoa:

But right now I have a Rose Bowl in mind for USC.

I was just saying with all those teams maybe more than USC will do something.

Either way, I think they start next season in the top 5 since they only lose 1 player on offense and really none of the standouts on defense.

Congrats.

The only game that matters is next week though, while the games today were good they mean nothing. Hopefully both Oregon and USC are good next year since they don't play in the reg season so the Pac 12 title game will mean something too.

Either Bama or LSU will be good at the end of the year and the other 116 or so teams will not be. Hopefully Bama wins and there is another split title.

Yea, it looks like Oregon is going the cupcake non-conference route next year, so most likely undefeated Oregon vs USC in PacChamp game. Hopefully Pac-12 can stay competitive so there are quality wins.

looking forward to seeing this guy again for soph season....154 yards -two carrys... average 77 yrds a carry.... :yikes:

Yeah he had a TD return against USC and was a USC decommit he's definitely a good talent. He will replace James but they're losing a lot off of this team this year as is Stanford. I'm willing to bet that both SC and Oregon will get into BCS bowls next year and if both are undefeated going into that game one of them will have a shot at getting a title, until the Pac 12 wins another national title it will always be considered Oregon and USC then the rest. There will be a lot of points in the conference next year but the team with the best defense will probably win the conference.

Well looks like no split title and also looks like Saban is going to be a great coach for Bama for quite sometime. Dude has 3 titles now.

I really enjoyed that game.....a bit surprised as I'm a scoring junkie, but that D was a thing to behold. I liked bama's modest disposition after the game as well. :thumb:

Yeah well I mean they expected to be able to do that. And holding them to 92 yards and shutting them down completely this was probably the best defense I have ever seen. Better than the 2008 Trojans, and better than the 92 Bama team.

I would honestly like them to be ranked maybe #6 or so with everyone coming back, so they can play the disrespect angle thru out the season and not have any let down losses.
