I finally had it with O........
Alumni and been a fan for 35 years.
Didn't watch one game this season, or last......

last straw- completely ripped clean the last heart string. :wavesad:

So what happened Mockbee you didn't make it sound clear
Well, it's a long story and has some complexities to it... not related to football.

Anyways Phil Knight/Nike, may be Oregon to the core but last year he bulldozed the last physical vestige of what I still thought of as purely Oregon athletics.
This is so they can plant a spaceship of a coliseum that will be used once in 2021 for the World Track Championships and, otherwise will be empty.... Olympic syndrome...
Hayward Field was the Fenway Park of track. The field still pulsed Prefontaine, even though he died 45 years ago. It's a disgrace.........

The football was great through Helfrich, after Chip took off, then Phil wanted to be an SEC team and fired every staff member that had any Oregon roots.... I'm just not interested in being an SEC team. Beat em as an Oregon team or go home.......

Other stuff too, the corporate crap really bothers me, can't get over it........

:tiphat:
Aw man. I stayed my first year at Oregon at the dorm right across from that field. Was aware of it's history. Used to run up it's steps in an attempt to get better hops in basketball. I had a job at the last bar Pre was at before he crashed and died. Crazy. I saw picture from a friend recently from campus. I didn't even recognize it at all. Kind of sad the transition to U of Nike is finally complete. I miss our old Bball court too. Nothing ever like it in all of sports.

Caleb is a fax of Mahomes. It's like the Curry syndrome in football....would love to see this become the qb archetype. Anyways, there is no way Utah is taking SC twice. Right now, they are the best team in college football (and the best coached).

diehard...no we aren't...we play no D...fun as fuck to watch offensively....but our d is a problem so far...and D wins chips

this archetype can't work for most teams...how our online doesn't hold way more often I just don't understand with Caleb just rolling around forever...they are the unsung heros

so stoked we get Utah again!

Georgia is scary as fuck

btw not that it matters, it doesn't but my gaydar has Caleb coming out once he goes pro ...that should shake up the world for the better

D got fed up with that narrative with the Irish. But those plays, and not just Caleb...Lincoln's got a bag of tricks and knows exactly when to use them. I have them winning it all.

It's officially the Pac 2.

Oregon State and WSU sued to keep the conference intact, as they never agreed to leave and they couldn't dissolve it without each teams endorsement. :drink:

At least Civil War (UO vs OSU) got set for the next couple seasons, we'll see after that. 127 meetings since 1894.

I think OU and OSU both sets will continue to play their rivalry games I think the only reason that the UT and ATM games didn't continue were because of the UT Longhorn Network with ESPN/ABC causing a rift.
