That's awesome. I gotta check out a Cyclone's game one of these days. My oldest son is almost 3 so he's into the Ducks and their mascot Quackerjack so that's where I end up.Romeo wrote:The A affiliate of the Mets, the Brooklyn Cyclones has THE BEST promotions Dept.
I have tickets for this:

It's what I love about baseball, that during any game you just might see something that's never happened before and likely won't ever happen again. During the entire history of the game, no pitcher has ever no hit the same team in back to back seasons.crater wrote:I know a lot of useless baseball trivia, but I don't know if a pitcher has no hit the same team in back to back seasons

I would post more about baseball but it would be the same every year. It would be more of a rant on the Mets stockpiling young pitchers and not trading a single one for a bat which would be fine if they spent money which they don't. The big offseason pickup was Curtis Granderson, a dude whose Yankee numbers look like steroid numbers compared his Tigers and Mets years because he's a lefty strike out or homerun over the shitty little Yankee right field wall player and the Yankees didn't even want him back. Great pickup to play in a pitchers park. Another wasted year. Maybe next year with Harvey will be different but I doubt it, it'll just be more 1-0 and 2-1 losses.farrellgirl99 wrote:i could talk baseball all day but i know the interest here is minimalkv wrote:NFL thread 100+pages

I stop talking about the Mets after April. And now Jeffy boy is in the news for being a disgusting pig (no shocker there)blackula wrote:I would post more about baseball but it would be the same every year. That's my end of season Mets rant.
down to two games.Juana wrote:If these scores hold up the Dodgers magic number is 9! 12 games left with a 4 game lead in the division
actually i feel bad for the a's. luckily kc and seattle have been sucking lately too. for the a's sake i hope kc makes it and not seattle if oakland does make the wild card. a one game playoff against krod would not be a good thing.Xizen47 wrote:creep wrote:i could brag about my team having the best record in baseball but i'm not.
