A while back I suggested that the YT bbcode could be updated so that you wouldn't have to pull out the string of characters after 'v='... you could just paste the whole URL. The problem is that doing this breaks the way the rest of us are used to doing it, and means work for Creep/Hoka (whoever does the actual admin) -- not a small issue, since if for some reason it doesn't work perfectly right away, the tweaking to make it work can take hours (one reason why bulletin boards/forums are slowly going the way of usenet/etc...).

it is a lot of code editing and i just don't have the patience. i was going to do a "post count" change option the other day so i could make kv have 100000 posts but i lost interest. everyone is comfortable on how to do it and if you don't know we can just click on the links. :noclue:
