Can't write much because the Internet is really shitty where we're staying, but Belgium's 2nd half was really good. Fellaini turned the game around as well.

Now, the first big problem of the trip. They've just told me that tomorrow's flight I bought a year ago was canceled the say after I bought it... so tomorrow we'll head out to the airport and try to solve this shit.

Oh, and today I played football with these Americans, Australians and Portuguese we've met here, along with a Brazilian kid. It was verg sweet and special. And I scored two goals, so not bad.

Fuck airlines.

i will be close to death then. get your bribe money ready and you might have a chance. you don't even have a team do you or do you have to qualify and you didn't?

they should do the world cup every two years. four years is a long wait.

i guess the olympics sort of counts as a "world cup" so i guess they do sort of have it every two years. :noclue:

No creep, it's not like the olympics. As I said before, I'm not the biggest fútbol fan but I've never missed a cup since I was little. Just a hint, why not start your own thread so anyone who's not into it or don't care about it, post their complaints there :noclue:

I watched yesterday's game and they did not impress me at all.

I was pleasantly surprised to see Rafael Marquez still playing... pretty hot guy if you ask me :hehe:

One of the best 0-0's I've seen in a long time. Ochoa's available on a free transfer!

Oh captain, my captain  I still don't know why Chicharito was kept on the bench until almost the last minute. I read somewhere he's not happy about it but I haven't had time to check on that.

That was a great game. It's nice to see the little guys beat the giants like Spain.

Yay Chile!

This was the best though...

We made it to Brasilia! My gf handled the situation with the airlines and we flew in our original flight.

And what a match that was, Spain vs. Chile! Along with the fall of Barcelona, this definitely marks the end of an era.

Tomorrow, we'll be at Colombia vs. Ivory Coast. As much as I'll be rooting for Colombia, I'd love to see a goal by Drogba or Yaya.

Oh, and the Netherlands... damn. Van Persie won't be available for the match against Chile, which isn't bad at all.

And Creep, there's a chance that the 2022 World Cup will be relocated, so start saving up! Or you could buy a dog house soon, refurbish it during a few years and sell it as an obelisc or something. OR you could go to the Copa America in Chile next year or the Olympic games in 2016. It's a good time to start saving up and Rio is a very active city.

That was fucking shameful, and soooo typical Chilean. One of thr many reasons I feel embarrassed about them.

85 of them were detained by the police and were given 72 hours to leave the country or they will otherwise be deported. Imagine those who flew in recenty and had everything paid for (except tickets) for 2 weeks. Fucking morons.

That's nothing...
In Paris’ history, the flame was only extinguished twice. The first happened in 1998 when France won the FIFA World Cup. A Mexican was in Paris and was upset over the French victory. He was drinking all night and while walking around the Arc De Triomphe, he decided to pee on the flame. Of course he was caught and was later sent back to Mexico by the French authorities with a stamp on his passport saying to never come back.
