WEEK 2 PICKS:
1:00pm games...
ARI@WASH: REDSKINS, BITCHES. I think this might be a high scoring game for both teams.
OAK@BUF : Bills. (I went back and forth on this... could really go either way.)
GBAY@CAR: Packers. I think the Packers have a damn good shot at going undefeated this year.
KC@DET : Lions.
CLE@INDY : hmmmmm... Browns. (shocking.)
TB@MINN : Bucs. Fuck McNabb.
CHI@NO : Saints.
JAC@NYJ : Jets.
SEA@PIT : Steelers "should" beat the shit out of them to convince themselves that last week vs the Ravens was a freak accident.
BAL@TEN : Ravens.
4:05/4:15pm games...
DAL@SF : Obviously, I want those fags from texas to lose... but I think they'll win this one.
CIN@DEN : Broncos.
HOU@ MIA : Texans.
SD@NE : This will be a great game. I'll take the Patriots.
8:20pm game...
PHI@ATL : Vick goes home to Atlanta for what could be great drama... I'm picking Atlanta to win.
MNF:
STL@NYG : Giants in a game that truly isn't a fair fight given all the injuries to the Rams last week.

I used to really like Bill Maher, but he's really gone down hill.
I've heard this premise before, and it makes zero sense. He's comparing a private business with it's own unique agenda and needs to a type of government. Talk about apples to oranges.

Re: NFL
The NFL is a tax exempt entity, no?
Re: NFL
49ers had the cowboys beat...then they kept giving up big plays and couldn't protect the qb. they still looked ok but time to loosen up the offense. at least the loss wasn't as bad as the raider loss. bad day for bay area football.
still in 1st place
still in 1st place

Thats awesome man!MYXYLPLYX wrote:Yeah, that game sucked... neither team really looked like a winner.
Oh well, at least my boy had a great time (giving a three year old a flag = win!)
Unlike Rivers and the SD offense today. Luckily I was checking it from ACL so it lessened my hate for Norv and all things Norv-like. But Brady is on a mission. I feel bad for the rest of the NFL because SD "slowed him down". Once all those weapons get used to this system its going to be dangerous.

Pretty sure I'll be 15-1 after tonights game. (although I'd love to have the Giants lose again.)
For hoka...
Rams will say a lot about their character tonight. They need to make a statement.
Re: NFL
Rams have a good chance of winning. If the Rams D can get at Eli early and often, he won't get a rhythm going. He's not difficult to beat. BUT... if you have no answer for their running attack, it won't matter if you get to Eli. Bradshaw is a beast.
I'll be rooting for the Rams tonight. Whether the Giants win or lose, the Skins are still fortunate to have a 1 game lead in our division against all other teams. I know it's only been 2 games but still... I love this shit. The NFCBeast is a tough division.
Also looking forward to Week 4 vs Rams.

Oakland threw it away with 30 min. to go... you're not going to win if you give the other team a TD on EVERY one of their 2nd half possessions so fkn frustrating
on the bright side, Oaklands offense looks like it'll score alot of points this season, and Denarius Moore looks like the real deal, kid's going to be good
Re: NFL
Oakland fans are suffering what Redskins fans went thru for years... Jason Campbell from game to game puts up all the numbers of a winning QB... yet there's no wins to back it up and the losses are SO close to wins. It is so frustrating.
I will admit though... watching Campbell play for Oakland has made my interest in their team go way up. I still think he's an incredibly talented QB but the Skins had no OLine to keep him safe in a pocket.
