Go Herbert!

He went to my high school, just was born three years after I graduated....

Hey Chargers, get a defense and some support.....!
Sounds like you got some injuries too..

Also, Oregon QBs tend to come on really strong then fade, so better make it quick!

Justin Herbert earned high praise from a future Hall of Fame quarterback for the second consecutive week.

The Los Angeles Chargers' rookie quarterback sensation threw a career-high four touchdown passes and nearly led the Chargers to a dramatic win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday. However, the Chargers blew another lead, missed a potential game-winning field goal near the end of the fourth quarter and lost 30-27 in overtime.

Herbert produced the best game of his brief NFL career, completing 20-of-34 passes for 264 yards with no interceptions in the game. He finished with a rating of 122.7.

Herbert and Brees met on the field after the game.

“He told me to keep working hard and hustling,” Herbert told reporters after the game. “I told him I was a big fan and it was an honor to play against him.”

Brees said Herbert has a “really bright future."

"I told him, I was really impressed with him...he's got a really bright future"

Brees' praise comes a week after Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback Tom Brady came away similarly impressed with Herbert during Week 4.

Youre more of a Tom Brady hater than I am a fanboy. Just by the fact you would label it as creepy. Like who gives a shit.

I didn't root for Brady much in the past. I cheered for both Giants teams to beat him in the superbowls. Now I like seeing someone of his age still being competitive in the nfl. Same goes for Phillip Rivers. Although he's a youngin compared to Brady.

I realize why Nick Foles is on his fifth team in the past six years, the guy moves like a snail. No mobility.

Tom Brady has proved his point. He was more important winning all those super bowls than coach Belichcik
