Naw it's only because the nfl doesn't let the qbs get touched or the wr's...they should just redshirt all qbs and make it two hand touch to tackle them...record books are worthless now
I don't disagree, but all homerism aside, Mahomes is a ridiculous talent. I've been watching football for 30 years, and have seen some of the best ever in person during that time. And the kid is special.

It was seeing this play live, his first ever home game, that made me instantly realize I was watching a generational talent.

I immediately turned to my (then) 10 year old son and said "you may be watching the beginning of one of the great careers in NFL history." It was that damn impressive. And he's done nothing to change my mind since.

We were there for the "no look" pass against Baltimore. The 30 second TD drive to take the 2018 AFC Championship game in to OT. The playoff comebacks, including the 2019 AFCCG. It's been incredible to witness. The only thing I can compare it to is like watching MJ play in Chicago in the early 90s, McGwire breaking the HR record in 1998, and the Greatest Show on Turf Rams in '99. There were a few moments with Pujols after that.

As far as QB play, the only others I've seen live that had that same WOW factor were Warner, Manning and Favre. Brady is up there, but he never just floored me with his talent outside of accuracy and ability to see the whole field. Nothing eye popping from him individually when watching in person.

I'm just happy my son has at least one "magic" sort of sports thing he can say he was there for.

Regardless of the era.

For sure. I never count Brady out. I had a bad feeling that whole game. I knew it wouldn't be over until it was over.

I hope they win. Packers fans are obnoxious. So many red neck Packers fans all over the Midwest.

Bears are a bad team. I'm ready to face the facts. There's an old saying..if you have two quarterbacks, you have none.

I honestly feel like they are better than they have recently shown, but worse than they started. I like Foles a lot. I think Trubisky is more capable than he has shown.

But yes, neither are likely to take the team very far.

I have some slight affinity for the Bears. They are the closest NFC team to me, and I really enjoyed my visit to Soldier Field last year. Despite my Chiefs gear, fans could not have been nicer. Although that's usually the case at other stadiums. If you're not being a jackass, people tend to be pretty welcoming.

I hope the Bears defense aren't pointing fingers. Stand in front of a mirror then look at your paystub

After watching the green bay game vs chicago it looks like Aaron rodgers can still pick any defense apart

I haven't watched the vikings in a while.

But the latest I hear, Tommy is signing autographs out of his garage. So there is that to look forward to, need to make it out sometime.

They hung in there on offense. I like Kirk Cousins. I think he's good enough to be a champ with the right pieces around him, and I think he just about does. What's wrong with the defense? Banged up?

I think the Chiefs have the first round bye pretty well locked. Even still, I'm excited for Sunday. Several good games to watch.

Lets go niners today!

A resurgent Trubisky has been keeping The Bears playoff hopes alive...
With the quarterback options available for them next season they'd be smart to give Mitch an extension. He's better than anyone else they can get.
