Good call, been a while since i've seen that film, time to watch it again.Jasper wrote:I think that's the body-snatched version of Sutherland at the end of the film, who is pointing out his still-human former-friend who had just mistaken Sutherland for his human self. Are you guys really sure it's larry b?hokahey wrote:creep wrote:i don't get it. i was one of the people that wanted him back. i guess he just wants to push the limits and get on everyone's nerves until hoka has enough and then he can complain about getting banned again.Jasper wrote: Oh, and Larry didn't have to sneak in the backdoor, he's just being an ass.
I'm trying to be patient.
Just because you see 1 IP address from Chile, doesn't mean it's larry. Surely, he is not the only JA fan in Chile who would post on a message board.
Re: Who is missing?
come on now. i would have guessed it was him without checking the ip. do you really think it's someone else from santiago chile?

Phenobarb Bambalam (sp?)
I think Lizardwiz was banned by Sonny around the end of 2010 or just stopped posting on Xiola after everyone dog piled on him over something or another.
Also, several guys who had actual bands going who'd posted clips of their tunes on Xiola the past few months. That was one of the big things about this group, no other music board I'm on has so many legitimately creative folk on it.

His email address also has Larry in it. I refuse to believe there's another Larry from Chile that just happened to stumble upon this place.
Re: Who is missing?
Larry's name isn't really 'Larry' though. This Hyperbolic seems less mature than Larry B.
I am not convinced.

Re: Who is missing?
Less mature than Larry? It seems exactly like Larry would be if he were butthurt and trying to be obnoxious and get attention. It's Larry, 100%. There's no question.Artemis wrote:Larry's name isn't really 'Larry' though. This Hyperbolic seems less mature than Larry B.

He also showed up at the exact same time as Perkana, and they are friends outside of the forums, so there's even more proof.

Long time Xiola lurker, never signed up cause I just didn't want to be that "new kid," I suppose, and things were starting to slide downhill. I was bummed to see Sonny pull the plug, but when I saw how fast you guys came back together with a new board, I just had to jump in.Artemis wrote:btw, who is cashinnowperry?

I guess what makes me skeptical is using all those names of people from the past who don't post anymore. The style reminds me of somebody else, I guess.

I gave the welcome creep alluded to to about 2-3 people over several years. It was a sound chewing-out after people had shown up out of the blue, and without any other introduction, proceeded to tell everyone on the board that they were wrong, and bad, and what they should and shouldn't be doing, and included lies and misrepresentation. Not only that, but I only addressed these people after others had tried to deal with them. This last time Hoka and Hype and some other people had tried to talk sense into them for quite a while before I finally decided to set them right. Pretty much worked, too, so I don't regret it.
