Didn't know where to post this...I used to go to school with a guy who went missing back in 2010. At first, I had read and other people had told me that he met a guy to sell his car, but after he sold it, he never went back home (this was what his family said).
Today I saw a post about him on my facebook memories and decided to google him again and found this article from 2014 in the Washington Times...
ANTIOCH, Calif. — A Mexican citizen suspected in the killing of a man who tried to pay a debt with Star Wars action figures has been deported.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say 34-year-old Pablo Christian Larumbe Rojas was turned over Tuesday to authorities in Mexico at a San Diego-area border crossing.
Rojas was arrested earlier this year in the San Francisco Bay Area in connection with the slaying of Carlos Palomares Maldonado.
Federal officials say Maldonado owed criminal associates of Rojas about $3,000 and offered to settle the debt by trading his collection of Star Wars figures that were apparently worth more than the debt.
Authorities say Maldonado disappeared after going to Rojas‘ home in Mexico with the figures in September. Federal officials say his body was later found in the possession of several people who implicated Rojas.
Even though we weren't very close, I had seen him in a school reunion back in 2008. He had recently become a father for the third time. Obviously, he wasn't mixing with the right people, but still, it is very sad for his family. And also, who would trade their SW figures with the mob?
P.S. Guess this made me relieved, more than happy, that he was found after all (even if it was just his body  )

I thought that I would adopt my next dog, but one of my ex-classmates posted the picture of the last puppy his mom was selling. I fell in love and got him today. Meet Rocco

He is...Another cute photo. I still don't know how to potty train him (he does well once he wakes up and other times we go outside and he pees once we're in :conf: ), but he still is adorable and really sweet. He is less than two months old, so I know I have to be very patient.

He still needs to understand that he can pee and shit during his walks, not inside when we get back :conf: It was his first day, baby steps...
