What's annoying you today?

Especially with the piece of groceries what they are currently, we've been primarily shopping at Aldi. For those who've been there, they have a shopping cart system where you unlock the shopping cart by placing a quarter in, and you get the quarterback when she return the cart. When I return the cart, I usually leave the quarter just in case for someone who might not have one when they get to the store.

Today, I put the quarter on the column right by the shopping carts as I usually do, and I had an older man immediately pass wearing a t-shirt with a bald eagle holding an assault rifle in its talons with the wording "My Rights Don't Stop Where Your Feelings Begin". He'd just gotten a quarter from who I'm assuming was his wife. He snatched the one I'd just laid down and looked at me. I told him I'd left it there for people who might not have a quarter. He laughed at me and said, "Waste not, want not".

We very thankfully and narrowly skirted the really strong winds and just lost power for a couple of days due to blown transformers and downed pine trees. Some minor damage from the trees, but I won't complain at all. Some towns like Perry and Madison east of us took the brunt of of it.

Clickie, how did you guys fare? A few feet of surge right?

I can't stand this teen girl uniform of sweat pants+Ugg boots that doesn't seem to be going out of style. They all-yes mostly all teen girls- wear this exact same outfit!
No doubt I wore some awful outfits too when I was a teenager.
