Believe me, I had that conversation. Basically, if I could have gotten my doctor to even approve sedation, it would have to be done in a hospital and thanks to my new PPO insurance, it would have added thousands of dollars to my co-pay for the procedure.

One way or another, you pay. Pick your poison. I had a colenoscopy and it was done in a mini OR with an anesthesiologist and an MD. Your procedure sounds like torture.

Hard to believe after two monster nor’easters in the last 10 days that the atmosphere would have anything left to give, but it may have just saved the best (or worst) for last.

I fucked the muscle above my knee on Sunday night, it still hurts. I didn't run this week, but I have a music festival this weekend. I will finally get to see Gorillaz. Going to wear a leg band, but don't know if I will stand it all day. Wish me luck

Also, I'm pissed for not winning any contest I've entered so far. No Bruce Springsteen show/meet and greet, no GoT first look at last season's first episode or meeting the cast. Fuck you Omaze. There, I feel better now. Until next time.

I'm no longer going to go out of my way to do good things for strangers.

At 7 this morning I took my dog for a walk at this park I usually take her to. As we got on the far end of it I noticed all this mail thrown all over the pathway. Since there was so much of it, I decided to pick it up to return it to the houses it was stolen from. There were child support papers, voting papers, credit card papers, DMV and car insurance papers etc. etc., typical mail stuff and the type of mail that if it were stolen from me I would be extremely pissed off about. So I grabbed what I could (because some of it had blown way off the trail and down a 20 or so foot drop off down into the water of the lake area and I wasn't about to hurt myself trying to get them) drove home to drop my dog off and look up on Mapquest were the houses the mail was stolen from (thankfully what I found was all from the same street) and headed on over to return it. No one answered the door at the first two houses, but a lady probably not much older than me did at the third house. I explained to her I found her mail (actually probably her husbands because it had a mans name on it) while walking my dog and I'm doing a good thing trying to return it to you.

Now I know I'm not Matthew McConaughey beautiful or anything, but I also don't have the appearance of a drug addict that goes around stealing peoples mail. So she looked at me all suspicious, quickly grabbed the few envelopes for that address out of my hand, said a "yeah thanks" and shut the door on me. Ok, I thought, I wasn't expecting some huge reward or anything, but I did want something more than that. But oh well, I felt good about doing something good and got in my truck and drove home. I wasn't home more than 15 minutes when a cop came knocking on my door and started questioning me about my whereabouts, running my name to see if I had any criminal history (I don't) and whatnot. When I told him where I found the mail he didn't seem to believe me that I found it, he was trying to get out of me that I was the one who actually stole it. When I told him I could take him to the exact spot where more of it was, he asked me why I didn't try to return that mail and wondered why I just left it. I told him I wasn't about to break my neck climbing down a steep ledge with a dog in my hand. So he asked me to take him over to where it was and so I did. Only the entire ride over (it's about a 20 minute drive to where I walk the dog from my place) he was trying to catch me in a lie about what I was doing with all this mail. It was a joke and really made me mad for trying to do something good for total strangers. When he drove me back home I told him that the next time I see mail everywhere up there (because this wasn't the first time, just the first time I decided to pick it up) I'm just going to ignore it and just keep on walking.

Yeah, really fucked up how that cascaded into a pain in the ass but don't let it get to you. Just take solace in the fact that you went out of your way to do something good is ultimately its own reward.

I don't mind this song. It's got a very 70s sound. Alex Turner really sounds like David Bowie with a dash of Peter Murphy

yeah, Alex has gone in such a different direction this time compared to 2013's AM and you gotta be a pretty die hard Arctic Monkeys fan to dig it.
