I went to a showing of the Live At The Paramount at the cinema which had a voucher for the remastered double CD. I'll buy the live DVD and CD and miss out on the "other" mix of the album. I worked out the cost and to have the complete set costs about $80 more ( basically just for that alternate mix CD) so I couldn't justify it. Especially since I should be able to back up a copy from the interwebs.

Yeeeea, I'm a bit of a hardcore Nirvana fan. So I coughed up the money with relatively little resistance for all the bells and whistles.

Hey, it's not as much as a vagina would cost me, right?

I didn't hear anything about them releasing a stand-alone of the Paramount CD but I'm sure it will all be online within 20 minutes of its release. Or just yell and I'll help you out with whatever you need.

A day off. I have 2 weeks left for the year, but any day off at this point means getting behind, which means hell when I get back and a smaller/no bonus for the month.

Sometimes it's worth losing the money if it means preserving your health and sanity. Maybe take a day off when there is a long weekend so you have 4 days or add 2 days, 1 before the holiday,+1 after so you have 5 days off.

I've had those same thoughts. I really need the money. And long weekends just mean longer work weeks to catch up. It's like I almost have to accept completely fucking myself if I want to relax. Not sure how much good a little relaxing coupled with a little being fucked will help.

I understand what you're saying. I guess the time off will be wasted if all you are thinking about is how much work you'll have when you get back. That sucks.
