Yeah but I had the NHL pass so I watched a lot of the games and you could see it in the effort that he lost some of them. It seemed like this year was going to be a rough one from the get go with Quick going down but what really killed us was not being able to score the puck consistently.

Either way that '14 cup starting out down 0-3 in the series and the run they went on was magical. Probably my favorite playoff run from any of the LA teams (even though it was borderline heart attack inducing). Finally seeing them win after the great one got them to the cup finals almost 20 years earlier is still something I will never forget.

I loved the first one too but it was so easy, '14 was brutal but the end result was amazing

Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov is back right in time for the post season. He's fresh and healed and rested too, just a little rusty.

Chicago vs Nashville should be domination on par with Washington vs Toronto.

Chicago is the model franchise for the NHL right now

Almost time for Game 3!

Go! Leafs! Go!

The Maple Leafs prayer:

" Our father who art in the ACC. Hockey be thy name. Thy will be done, with the series to be won. On ice as well as in the stands. Give us this day our hockey sticks. And forgive us for our penalties. As we forgive those. Who cross check against us. Lead us not into elimination. But deliver us to victory. In the name of the fans. And the holy sport and Lord Stanley. Amen! Matthews 3:4 " :lolol:

Wew lad Nashville is putting a clinic on the hawks

They are the model but its inevitable that after the success the blackhawks had it catches up.

No high draft pics for years, top players getting their due pay putting a hit on the cap, long seasons, blackhawks just look old and worn out.

So, Nashville and Pittsburgh are moving on to the next round now.

Hopefully, my Leafs win tonight. We need a positive after the Raptors horrible game last night.

Congrats! It was quite a game for sure. I think one of the announcers described it as "frantic".

No congrats in order for me... I'm just bandwagoning through the playoffs with the caps since they had a couple old kings I like (and oshie and ovi)... Although last hockey game I did make it to was kings x caps...I have no really horse like you with the leafs...I kne it wouldn't be a sweep and people weren't giving you guys enough credit...You guys are gonna be great very soon...(just hoping not this soon)

Nobody expected this young Leafs team would make it this far, so this all gravy. I think the Caps fans thought this series would be a sweep...guess they were wrong. No matter the outcome, it's been a very entertaining. I'm looking forward to the game tonight!

Yeah. That was '93 (the last year Toronto really had a shot, too, ruined by Gretzky). Vancouver came close a few years later (I forget exactly). Some of us count Colorado's '96 win as a win for the Nordiques.
