Yeah, I remembered that he had said October. What a dolt. It's so sad, really. If he or his followers actually believe this stuff, I really feel bad for them, in the sense that they are almost like little children. On the other hand, they royally piss me off, because they represent the enemies of logic, and that means they are very dangerous people, and they promote and uphold delusional thinking, which can hurt people on a personal scale, or cause massive damage culturally/politically.
Finally, if he or any of his followers are actually shysters, the burning-at-the-stake thing does become awfully tempting, even though I wouldn't actually support it.
P.S. It would have been a lot more fun if he'd given Oct. 31 as the date.
