Julius Randle had a good qoute the other day.regarding load management. "I put way too much into it to take games off. I understand the science and all that different stuff behind it. But I guess I have my own science. I just put way too much into my body, for me personally to cheat myself out of being available for my team."
ya he's young though...load management is for the old and injured....old man rant...I am tired of 2023 athletes telling me how good they are gonna do stuff....just fucking do it...you get paid millions, I expect those guys to be good and play...my brain instantly thinks of Antony Davis "I'm playing 82" no, no you aren't....

Immanuel Quickly was very impressive in that game. He played 55 minutes and almost 40 points!

'92 - 80
'93 - 78
'94 - 17 games baseball
'95 - 82
'96 - 82
'97 - 82
2001 - 60
2002 - 82, that's when he was 40 years old.

I haven't really been paying attention to sac-town now that they're good again. Is De'Aaron Fox still their best player or did someone overshadow him.

Tough loss for my guys last night against Denver. We were leading throughout the game, then near the end, like the last few minutes, things fell apart due to some shitty calls by ref Scott Foster. I don't know why Scottie Barnes got a technical AND ejected from the game! . Rather excessive, imo. HIs gesture didn't look like anything worse than what the other players do. I mean, he didn't give the refs the finger or anything like that. Nick Nurse should have played Gary Trent Jr more; Siakam wasn't having a great night.

Just saw that Scottie apparently said the refs were cheating in earshot of Foster. Ugh, that's fucking stupid he got ejected for that.

Thanx for the update! Yeah, lame reason for an ejection. It's an abuse of referee powers! :jasper:

Imho, the refs have gotten really bad the last few years when players question anything with any emotion. We lost one Joey Crawford and picked up ten more, lol.

I didn't watch the Clippers game last night but we had some ref issues again with Fred Van Vleet. He also had some public words about the refs post-game. Wonder if that will result in a 15K fine for criticizing the refs.

Haha, good on Fred. But yeah, if he said something critical on camera post game, that is asking for a fine in today's NBA.

Fred can afford the 30K fine. I think he got his money's worth for sure!

Another L last night.. :nyrexall: Lakers looked great! Who needs LeBron and AD when you've got D’Angelo Russell and Dennis Schroder.

Don't look now but the bulls are 10th in the eastern conference race. Zach has been playing like a man possessed by demons.

I know sometimes I try to equate what a fine like that would equal to someone working a normal job. It would probably be like two dollars.

the kings can clinch a playoff spot tonight. It's been a while...

they probably have the 3 spot pretty much locked up. the seven teams behind them are all within 2 1/2 games of each other so who knows who the kings will play. It's cool to see OKC jump ahead of Dallas and Utah up to a play in spot.

I do hope we don't play the Warriors or Lakers since I would like to go to a playoff game and have a chance at tickets. My last playoff game was 2002 game 5 vs the Lakers. What a game....

I cant believe we are this close to the end of the season! I also can't believe I'm as invested as I am right now. A month ago, I was pulling for a Bulls tank (and I'm still thinking they should have, but damn if the last number of games haven't had me excited).

Hoping Sac clinches tonight too. They've been really impressive this season!

I don't think this many playoff match ups have still been so up in the air at this point in the season for a good while. The falls and rises in the last month have been wild.

Welp, came for the Bulls-Clippers game but didn't realize I'd actually purchased a ticket to the Nic Batum 3-Point Clinic. Yeesh.

Creep, was rooting for the Kings last night. I did not see Minn winning that at all.
