That would be pretty on-brand for them at this point.Artemis wrote: ↑Tue Nov 01, 2022 3:24 pmWow, Steve Nash's body is still warm!
I guess for the Celtics it would be good to get rid of Udoka and turn the page on everything that happened.
A comment I saw cracked me up: "Fire Nash and hire Ime Udoka. The Nets really love drama. Why not Kanye West as the team president?"

Re: NBA
What a dumpster fire. Knew it would turn out like this I soon as KD went to team up with that flat-earth-antisemitic-black Israelite Kanye wanna be. Nash dodged a bullet. So did the Celtics in a few ways. Simmons, KD, and Kyrie deserve each other.
Re: NBA
we have two wins!
for real...we aren't even beginning to get it locked in...and we look good on d...d won our last ring...loooong ways to go....never understood Vogel not trying russ off the bench...hams figures it in 5 games....russ sucks in lebron's offense....lebron doesn't suck in Russ'....russ with bench then add lebron once bench rides a lil...boom...we are so sloppy, bad turnovers missed layups ...we've played every game, every opp...hard
I feel like the front office has played this right...aside from getting Russ to begin with but I was down..Kool aid for one plz!

Re: NBA
So, the Raptors have looked pretty good in their last two games.
"“They’re strong, they’re long,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said after last night’s 143-100 Toronto win, the worst home loss of his career. “Very athletic. They bust their ass. They deny the switch. Very good basketball team. They do it really well. And you know, we’re probably not ready for that right now obviously.”

Re: NBA
Went to the Raptors vs Bulls game last night...we got the W! My first game since 2019.
Fred was back but Pascal still out with groin injury.
Apparently, I'm not the only one who dislikes Dragic, there was booing when he came out on the court. I too booed behind my mask.
My friend and I were one of the few who were masked up, most people weren't. It was fun to get out. Drake was there too.

Re: NBA
Glad you had a great time and soaked in that W, Artemis!
Re: NBA
Though Jeanie was a certain upgrade from Jim, I can't help but think her pop's shadow is just too large for her to shake. She just seems to overcompensate largely with cash and erroneous loyalties. Magic, Kurt and Linda Rambis, Pelinka, and LeBron have all provided disastrous advice. And she protects all of them. And she gets a hard pass from fans and the LA press.
Re: NBA
Fun to watch. If their defense somehow improves… watch out
Was at Sixers tonight- Simmons got booed but it didn’t feel like a big deal. Have to wonder how different it would’ve been had Embiid played. Loved the ball movement too- Nice change of pace from Harden dribbling at the top of the key.
Re: NBA
I saw clips from the game and I was surprised Ben didn't catch more shit.someguy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:28 pmFun to watch. If their defense somehow improves… watch out

Re: NBA
Probably because of low expectations with everyone out. I thought for sure it was going to be a wash.creep wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:34 pmI saw clips from the game and I was surprised Ben didn't catch more shit.someguy wrote: ↑Tue Nov 22, 2022 9:28 pmFun to watch. He played well enough but then completely disappeared in the 4th- didn’t register a single stat. Glad he’s not our problem anymore
Re: NBA
I chalked it up to the low expectations too.
Game was more entertaining than I expected it to be.
