Creep prob loved that game...coach pisses me off calls timeouts in first half like they are candy...never has em late when he blew the last I said we'll be stuck needing points with 2 seconds and no TO....and wtf is he letting a hurt AD go down with the ship like it's game 7...it's not...but then again he couldn't call TO to get him out
yeah pretty much.
if the lakers and dodgers win this year plus covid... it will for sure be the worst year in the history of the world.

NBA thread locked? This place.
Congratulations. I had no doubt all year the Lakers had the mettle to do this. Though I hate the tie, I can't say there aren't things I appreciate. First, Kobe and G. That was a powerful and worthy motivating factor. I have always admired Jeanie Buss and never doubted her conviction to further her dad's vision. I'm glad she accomplished it while making tough, but necessary decisions to jettison her loon brother. But her trophy acceptance speech was the best I have ever heard and echoed what I have said for years....'it was an honor and privilege to share the court" with all of the teams to achieve the ring. No first loser bullshit. And Silver. Facing the challenges of 2020 with typical NBA verve and determination. It's the best league on the planet, and just getting better.

Thank you...after a lifetime of chasing you guys...it feels fucking great...rondo won the 17th for us both
only in 2020...and Jeanie is the all-time best...she made history as a women last night and I really couldn't be more proud of her...the league is in great shape...I'm just glad we grabbed the brass ring when we had the chance at it...

Lebron was so happy for AD, that was sweet.
congrats....even though lakers are still my sworn enemy, and you added lebron....
oregon-cali relationship was always hostile up here and lakers just epitomized that foment.
but living in sf for 10 years and brother in LA made me soften, you guys are good...
(Just totally pompous, self-absorbed and clueless... but good.

Congrats to the Lakers!
Pity there won't be a victory parade right now but when there is one, I'm sure it'll be epic! Well, maybe not as epic as the Raptors parade..
Looking forward to next season in January.

After last night on the streets around Staples Arena, LA doesn't deserve shit. I can't believe the idiocy I was seeing on tv. Morons blowing up their hands with fireworks, looting businesses, throwing rocks at cops...

Yeah, so there's the rub. Lakers are poised well even with a stacked west. I haven't checked the odds but they have to be generous towards LA. The Celtics, while essentially staying put. took huge steps backwards with the re-introduction of the Nets in the east. I think Kyrie has graduated into the certifiable category of mental illness, so I am hoping he blows up another team. Hayward is a huge problem, and by extension Brad. I know what the numbers say, but they don't reflect his grotesque defense....lack of switches, dormancy, confusion, and general confusion. Offensively, he's just terrified...taking the open shot but mainly hiding in the corner. Brad seems more loyal to Hayward than the overall good of the team. We have to make a huge move, but without dealing at least Smart, it's going to be insanely difficult to dump that 32 mill money pit that is Hayward.
