For someone who thinks he is "the greatest ever", Lebron sure needs a shit ton of fucking help to beat a handful of short dudes who can make a long 3 pointer.

….and the predictions begin

Who will win the NBA title?
Heading into 2018-19, the Golden State Warriors received every first-place vote in this category. Now there's more competition, with the LA Clippers leading the way as the most likely NBA champion.
1. LA Clippers: 117 points (54.5% first-place votes)
2. Milwaukee Bucks: 85 points (36.4% first-place votes)
3. Philadelphia 76ers: 38 points (6.1% first-place votes)
4. Los Angeles Lakers: 29 points
5. Golden State Warriors: 15 points (3.0% first-place votes)
6. Houston Rockets: 11 points
7. Utah Jazz: 3 points

 Sounds like pretty good seats!
Hopefully Balmer keeps his mouth shut during the game; he has a very annoying voice.

I haven't bought any tickets yet. The ticket prices for the games I want to see cost more than I want to spend. For example, the Clippers game in December, obstructed nose-bleed seats are over $200. I will probably go for a Knicks game where the same nose-bleed seat is $38.

Could be worse...Lakers tickets are 200 for a pair of top row bleeders vs the kings...in other (possibly related) news...I'll be seeing the Lakers vs kings in nov :banghead:

I did have a pair of bleeder seats for Golden State for 3 minutes...untill I put them back and looked for games under 500...I've seen finals games for half of that!

Because they were a friend of a friends', I didn't pay nearly the amount I would have had I done the usual StubHub route. These include parking off of Chick Hearn ave, and I paid 350 for both. Still insane, I suppose....but I have been doing these C games in LA with my son for a long time now. It's been a couple of years so creating the memory for him, seeing the Celtics, and KL it's worth it. I am not a spender....Not a things or clothes guy at all. Back in 2013, I had to buy a car. We went to test drive a few and ended up driving a Benz. It was glorious. The engineering was astonishing. My wife wouldn't go. I ended up with a Hyundai Elantra :lolol: . She knew what I had forgotten....after a week of loving it, I'd just feel like a douchebag and end up bummed it would be scratched up by the pup and loaded with sand.

I have to say, I'm sick and tired of reading about China's gross overreaction to Daryl Morey's tweet(now deleted) over the last weekend. The Chinese response is REALLY disproportionate to the actual incident. Sure, they can express their displeasure with the comment, but suspending all business with the NBA partners, retail sponsors, media, etc.,is WAY over the top, imo. I'm glad that Adam Silver took a stand.

Do you guys think China is overreacting?

Spicy P got a nice 4 year deal today- $130 million. Man, to think where he was 3 years ago as a rookie, to where he is now! He got into basketball late compared to most players. Hopefully he stays healthy and keeps on improving.

Last night I watched the Raptors vs Nets game and was impressed by what I saw from one of the new guys, Terence Davis.
Over on the nets, what's the dealio with Kyrie Irvings face mask?? I'm assuming he had a facial injury. It was probably mentioned during the game but I don't remember the reason given.

I also caught the Clippers vs Dallas game....Dallas looks like they're going to be really good this season.
