So we signed Melo and Gasol. If this was 2003 I'd be stoked. Well, Anthony might work out. Who knows.

This guy has been exceeding expectations. Nice find by the Raptors.

I'm surprised how good the Raptors are I thought Siakam was overpaid at first but he's deserving of it

I agree, the Raptors are doing better than I thought they would too.
The new guys have been really impressive; I like what I'm seeing so far. I thought with Ibaka&Lowry out, we'd be ranking closer to the bottom of the east.

What happened to Portland they made it to the Western conference finals last season and now they're 7-12?

I think they will bounce back. Lots of new guys and injuries. Melo surprisingly is killing it for us.

I'm looking forward to tonight's game against the Clippers and the Klaw's return to the 6. He is going to get a helluva an ovation tonight when he gets his ring. I predict a little emotional leakage from Kawhi, a happy tear or two.

Classy move by both the fans and the Raps, they treated him WAY better than SA did in his return.

Yes, well done by all.
I was a little disappointed that KL didn't sign again, but we all knew he was traded- not by choice- and only for 1 year. Well, he more than delivered and there's nothing to be mad about. Even if Kawhi stayed on, I don't think last season could be replicated. Sure, maybe we could win again, but the excitement and magic that was last season could never be repeated, imho. Speaking personally, I was OBSESSED..lol. And that parade...never seen anything like that here before. The Leafs winning the Stanley Cup might top it, but I don't think that's happening any time soon.

Ya, I mean it's Canada...what exactly do you guys ever get upset over?

We get mad about stuff. For example, beer price increases, the current weed situation;government weed is more expensive than obtaining weed the traditional, illegal way.
Yup I love the good ole fashioned "dude you gotta try this shit" style
Also KV not sure if you remember who since I have killed a lot of brain cells but I posted that Ingram would eventually be a beast and someone replied he would be a bust...
Ingram this season so far: (not counting tonight) 25/7/4 on 49% and 41% from 3 with 1 block and 1 steal per game to add in there and he is only 22....

Not me...maybe Sr? he was my fav Laker...I bought his jersey last year...I thought the most upside and the last one we should trade.....but once we got LBJ I knew he was prob gonna be gone since they played the same positions...little did I know LBJ would play pg

Yeah I know it wasn't you, we both saw mini Durant in him he just needed time to develop and to put some weight on and I figured Bronny would play PG this season especially given last season but he and AD are pretty lethal so far. I do miss Hart though need more shooting 23-3 or not.

Well, this sucks.
The Raptors provided the following injury updates on Thursday:
Marc Gasol sustained a strained left hamstring in the first quarter of play Wednesday, Dec. 18 at Detroit. He was reevaluated on Thursday and it was determined he will be out indefinitely.
With 6:47 to play in the fourth quarter, Pascal Siakam sustained a stretched groin after an awkward landing. He was evaluated Thursday and will be listed as out indefinitely.
Norman Powell left the same game with 3:17 to play in the fourth quarter after a collision with another player. After testing in Toronto on Thursday, it was determined he had sustained a subluxation of the left shoulder. He will also be out indefinitely.

Wow, what a game! Raptors were down by 30 against Dallas then came back to win it! Kyle Lowry and the bench guys were incredible!
