Tied game in game 1 of the NBA 1997 Finals with Karl Malone at the line. Scottie whispers "mailman doesn't deliver on Sundays".
Malone misses both free throws and Jordan hits the buzzer beater.

Wow, I am really missing basketball. One year ago today, we defeated Orlando and moved on to take on the 76ers. The only good think about COVID-19 is that the Raps can be the champions a little longer.

Tristan Thompson said yesterday the Bulls were invincible with Rodman. Tell me something most people dont already know. Bulls don't win anymore titles without Dennis.
He told MJ and the rest of the team along with Phil Jackson, wait your ass while I roll to Vegas..and they did.

I guess they're talking about a late July playoff schedule

Wow I feel old....20 years ago today...a 29 year old version of myself sat in the last row up top of a shining new Staples Center for "Bryant to Shaq"...the greatest sporting moment my eyes have watched live...and I've been lucky...no Kobe makes this emotional, no lie...I knew when he died it would paint everything a different shade...

Play-in tournament
Once each team has played its remaining eight-game schedule, the Nos. 1-7 seeds in each conference, at least, will be locked in. At that point, if the No. 9 seed is within four games of the No. 8 seed, there will be a play-in series for the final spot in each conference.

Playoff format
Same as always. Once the eight seeds in each conference are determined via the mechanisms above, seven-game series will commence with traditional formatting. This means no group-stage format or 1-16 inter-conference seeding. Yes, I find this very boring and wildly disappointing given the opportunity the league had to try something new and fun.
