September is shaping up to be a busy concert month for me: IDLES, PJ Harvey, St Vincent, Paul Weller, Jeff Lynne

I guess I'm making up for the missed shows during the pandemic years. :lol:

I saw Nation of Language again last night, opening for Beach Fossils. Their live show has continued to evolve and I find them to be a powerhouse show now that they’ve added lighting, fog and more vocal effects to the presentation. They tour incessantly and it’s obvious how well they’ve honed their act. There are very few bands I’d drop everything to see and they’re one of them. Sadly, it was an openers set, so it was only 10 songs.

They’re not for everyone, but if you like early New Order/OMD/Depeche Mode, they’re worth the time to explore.
