Would love to see Blondie and Garbage- will have to check tour stops.

I will be seeing:
RENT - 20th Anniversary tour!
Fabulous musical- if you've never seen it and have a chance to, I highly recommend it.
The musical score is amazing! I am excited to get to see it again after all these years.
(Hi my name is Squee & yes this old timer :oldtimer: metal head likes Broadway Musicals)

BTW follow up review :
Beautiful - The Carole King Musical was phenomenal! All you 40-50 somethings here that grew up hearing her songs(sung by her or others that she wrote for) on your mama's am radio in the car as a kid would really enjoy it, as would the "youngsters" to learn about music of that era. The musical history of her life story told in it was fascinating, and the cast does such a great job! Stellar performances all around.

Got tickets for Ride in July.

Thinking about Spoon with Cherry Glazerr also in July. I better decide soon because this show will sell out for sure.

Also, contemplating The Jesus and Mary Chain in May. Unfortunately, tickets are only available on secondary sites now. I don't want to pay$200 for a $70 ticket. No big deal, saw them in 2015.

Over the course of the next month and a half I am seeing A Perfect Circle Twice and Bishop Briggs.

I also have acquired future tickets for Depeche Mode.

This will be like my 10th or 11th time for APC. Bishop Briggs and Depeche Mode.... first time each.

I got drunk and bought 2 tickets to see the Make-Up in Brooklyn on 5/21. They were great in the late 90's/early 2000. Now they are old like me.

I drank some of Maynards wine last weekend in Prescott. Good stuff.

I'm thinking about going to the Tool/Primus/Melvins gig in San Bernadino this summer.

So pleased that I went.
Awesome, I've been listening to the Its a Shame about Ray, Come one Feel and Baby, I'm Bored a lot recently. Weirdly, I'm a lot more into them now even though I went and saw them a few times in the 90s and 00s!

Last night I was at The Damned show and the Captain fell off the stage. This was near the end during one of the encores.

The show was pretty good, band sounded great.

From the Facebook page:
“Ladies and Gentlemen….How do.”
As I’m sure you’re all aware now, last night in Toronto, our fearless Captain took a spill off the front of the stage
resulting in a broken rib. In an effort to “ Carry On Captain” we are postponing our Montreal and Boston shows to the
following dates:
Montreal: May 23, 2017
Boston: May 24, 2017
All tickets and VIP packages will be honored for these rescheduled dates.
Most importantly though is that our beloved Captain recover and resume his exuberant duties.
Let’s all keep up the good thoughts and positive wishes.
From The Damned Production

I'm a big KL fan, and I admit I've heard just a handful of the new album, but so far it seems painfully overrated. I need to go back to it and give it a deep listen. That said, all the clips I have seen of him live have been spectacular. I surprised my son with tix a few years back when Butterfly dropped here at the Nokia. He loved it.

I got an email from Live Nation for their 'KIck Off to Summer' promotion- $20 tickets(all in) and got tickets for The Jesus and Mary Chain on May 12! The tickets were actually $23.$3 for delivery fee even though I chose the 'will call' option...oh well. The seats are up in the second balcony but that's okay, the venue capacity is less than 3000.

I like the new album, so I'm pretty happy about going. The ticket price tag is very good too.

I know most of the bands from the first five rows (I've already seen FF, but I would love to see PJ Harvey and The Shins). Any other band you would recommend me?

I really feel old when I don't know some of the headliners. the xx? alt-j? phoenix?

Phoenix is a French band, I've already seen them once. To be honest, I thought it was boring.
I only like a couple of their songs like this one (it's millennial stuff for me)

The XX are not that bad, just a bit depressive...

Alt-J is a bit overrated for me, but I've seen some of their live shows online and I enjoyed them.

I saw Maiden last week. Shinedown supported and I didn't really know much/any of their stuff. I actually really enjoyed them. Very tight and the singer Brent Smith has one hell of a voice.

A friend took me down to the LB incarnation of the old Sm jazz club Harvells (been around since the 1930's) to see Little Miss Nasty....which turned out to be a cross between a burlesque/Seventh Veil style show with a dark musical backdrop.....Manson, Korn, Dead Weather, Reznor/Ross, etc.....but one of the girls has a band called Gina and the Eastern Bloc

So, Jeordie is the dj for the set for the burlesque show and the band is playing the viper room....we're gonna go. Seriously hoping not to see DN or Dan there.
