I saw a bunch on people when I got on a plane yesterday from phoenix who had hardcopy tickets. I was thankful, I hate the phone when it comes to tickets. The damn thing always turns off or swipes to some other screen, you have to have a wifi connection, or download and save/find the thing, battery might go dead, then you're out of luck. screw the phone...

Ya but you'd be happier in 18 or 1921....we're not bringing hayrides back....it's Jetson's time! just Tesla's instead of flying cars lol
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
What they do at Staples center is they scan your phone and print you a receipt that looks like an old style ticket stub...
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
How long until the retina or the chip scan?
no need for nothin on you, just your onesie space suit...
Better yet, the VR home box where you don't ever have to leave your recliner......

Pre-sale starts Wednesday and Friday is the public on-sale. It's been so long since I last used Ticket Master; I fogot my password! I'm feeling excited and optimistic about the return of live music.
I saw some weird thing with Billie Ellish is being accused of queerbaiting because on instagram she said she likes girls. I mean Katy Perry had that song I kissed a girl and liked it
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Have 3 more shows booked.
Gary Numan - October
Chvrches - November
Billie Eilish- February 2022
King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard - October 2022
So looking forward to live music again. I've really, really missed concerts.

They moved the postponed "Cruel World" goth/new wave festival to the friggin' Rose Bowl. No thanks...
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
I'm doing a show today not sure it it counts, my by cousin in law (if that is a thing) might show up but the Rev Billy said 3 bottles of wine so

I think it's outside, where they held the Arroyo Secco festival. Not too bad. I had tickets for the original one last year but passed too. I'm excited to see some live music but not too hyped for a festival yet.Pandemonium wrote: ↑Sun Jun 20, 2021 10:06 amThey moved the postponed "Cruel World" goth/new wave festival to the friggin' Rose Bowl. Did get tickets to see Black Country, New Road at Zebulon almost a year from now, though.

If they could just delete Morrisey, that show would be incredible!

I am not 100% certain, but I think The Damned lineup will include originals Brian James and Rat. They planned on a reunion last year which of course was shelved due to Covid but have rebooked the dates in the UK for next February.

So two weeks ago I went to see Jim Bob from Carter USM. Saw the Chartlatans on Saturday night and I'm off to see The Human League supported by the Thompson Twins this Saturday! Three gigs in three weeks after a two year hiatus and the first two have been amazing.

Re: Live shows in your agenda?
So far, I haven't gone to any of my shows.
Nouvelle Vague was cancelled.
Gary Newman-postponed to March
Chvrches- I didn't end up going, sold my tix. Cases are on the rise again here and I didn't feel comfortable going to a sold-out, mostly standing venue.(2500 capacity).
I've got Raptors tickets for mid-December. I'll assess closer to the date.
My latest ticket purchase is for Valerie June in May, 2022.
