I don't care much for "Jack Nicholson: The Character" which he became from The Shining onwards (although he was good in The Departed). But in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, he's excellent and I'd say his roles in Chinatown, The Passenger and Easy Rider are my favorites.

it is an amazing perfomance, and he wasn't even nominated for an Academy award. :eyes: One of my favorite movies

I thought it was really good movie too. It's one of the best book to movie adaptations, imo.

Agree with One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest.

Where do you all see his Joker? I take Heath. Any chance Jared Leto will stack up?

I much prefer Heath's take on The Joker. Nicholson's take is iconic, but it's too ....er, jokey for my tastes. The Suicide Squad version is hard to gauge from the trailers - I *really* don't care much for the look of the character.

If in doubt, watch The Thing. Carpenter and Morricone. NOTHING can go wrong. Best film ever.

I'm done with the kids and superheroes flicks. Still not sure about going to see the Suicide Squad movie. I'm not into comics so I don't care how close to the stories they are. I enjoy fast paced, violent, black humored comic movies :noclue:
I'm really looking forward to the new Ghostbusters movie. I saw the original ones (first one is my favorite) and I'm a fan of Paul Feig's movies and the comidiennes (all but Kate McKinnon, I think she's annoying) so my childhood will not be shattered with this gender swapped version (hello Chris Hemsworth :boobs: )

Kate Mckinnon is one of the few cast members that stood out to me against all the unfamiliar faces on SNL the past few seasons. Shes funny and very attractive too. I guess shes a lesbian.

I feel ya about being over with this not so recent over ten years trend going on with comic book movies though. Theres still plenty more in the works. Some people must love em.

I think she's overexposed. Besides her Justin Bieber impression, I don't find any other of her impressions or characters funny :noclue: I like Leslie Jones 10000x better
P.S. I found funny your attractive+funny= she must be lesbian comment. It's not the first time I've heard/read it. Usually, people call me a lesbian because I'm not into them.

When i said i guess shes a lesbian, i meant it from the standpoint of me being curious and reading about her life. I wasnt just making a joke or assumption.

Last night I saw Suicide Squad and it was not very good. I give it a 6/10, which some might say is generous.

The plot is all over the place. At some points I found myself not knowing what the hell was going on. Some of the dialogue is cringe-worthy lame too.

I saw it with a few friends after a few pre-movie drinks, so we did have fun watching it, but seriously, don't waste your money.
