Sad news.

When Star Wars came out in 1977 I was 10 years old. At the time, I thought Princess Leia was the coolest female character, even bumping out Jaime Sommers(The Bionic Woman). RIP Carrie Fisher..

Besides the sheer number of those passing is the consistent quality level of the people they were. Just saw a fake headline saying, "Millions mourn as activist and musician Ted Nugent, 67 found alive".

When I saw Return of the Jedi in the theaters at 10 years old, she became my first celebrity crush

News has been running a lot of recent interviews she did and she was a funny, lovable woman right to the end. One thing that struck me, was she looked a *lot* better in interviews from just the past year then she did in The Force Awakens.

Given everything I've read/seen about her subsequent to her passing I have to wonder if she liked those pix. :boobs:

Oh no...Debbie Reynolds(Carrie's mother) has been rushed to the hospital according to TMZ.

Debbie Reynolds, the famed actress and mother of Carrie Fisher — who died yesterday at the age of 60 — has suffered a medical emergency and has been rushed to an emergency room, TMZ reports. The 84-year-old Reynolds was reportedly at her son's home in Beverly Hills this afternoon discussing funeral plans for her daughter, when someone from the house called 911. Family sources tell TMZ that the cause is a potential stroke.

This is a breaking news post. We will update when more information is available.
