With Elliot Easton, the guitar player from The Cars.

It will be out soon.

"solo" ought to mean no Etty, so that's a start..

Solo just means "not jane's"

I will bet everything I have that Etty is all over the album.

At last he is making it with a guitar player so hopefully it's not some silly techno record.

I'm guessing it's the same recordings mentioned in this interview with Tony Visconti:

Perry is so irrelevant that however shit this album is, it won't even get panned by anyone. Nobody will really listen to it, no-one will review it, no-one will care. Why would anyone care. A 65 year old releases a techno record featuring his wife and a guitarist. How pathetic does that sound.

It most assuredly will be a silly techno record.

Shoot me down in flames if you like, but I'm pleased that the guy has enough still in him to hit the studio and make a record, however shit it will probably be. Maybe he's be well advised to hang up the mic, but fair play to him for not being willing to give it up.

?

I just don't get it that anybody would allow him any studio time.

I agree.

Also: Tony Visconti is producing. That's pretty badass. Unless Tony's fallen on hard times or something and does it out of sheer desperation of course :noclue:

He has a home studio. He recorded all his vocals for TGEA at home.

I'm guessing this is another laptop record that he paid an 80s guitar player to play on.

I'm trying to find some of these threads where we've posted possible song names for a Jane's/Perry album, just to compare once we see the track list.

I'm having no luck with the search, though.

Tyler Durden wrote:There will be another Jane's album at some point over these next 10 years...

Perry will take the family to the beach so he can go surfing (one last time) and while arriving, he will cross paths with Eric. Eric will inadvertently take Perry's claimed parking spot...then Perry will get all butthurt and decide to make Dave and Stephen record 10 songs about it.

The first single will be "Magic Bliss (From an Asian Girl's Kiss)", from the album Underwater Ghosts. There will be a theatrical, multi-media component to accompany the album that the band will plan to perform in Las Vegas following the release...but due to logistics, this will never actually happen. The lead single will be performed at a handful of regular shows, while the rest of the setlist is filled out with tracks from NS and Ritual, plus "Just Because" and "Superhero".

Underwater Ghosts tracklist:

1) Hydroponic
2) Magic Bliss (From an Asian Girl's Kiss)
3) Underwater Ghosts
4) Bam!
5) Crystal Shores
6) Artificial Social Life
7) The Imposter (4 Strings of Deceit)
8) She's Real
9) Kind Heaven II
10) Rebel Souls of Los Angeles

This sort of record-keeping is vital for key moments like this one, when Perry is finally going to release his super album.

I found mine

 Easily the best song title ever.

Dobel Personality a close second.

* Looking back at the thread I liked the same two song titles. I have a simple mind. :dunce:
